본 연구는 국내에서 행동치료관련 인력을 양성하는 민간자격관리 기관과 대학과 대학원 과정의 자격 체제 및 교육과정을 분석하고, 이를 현재 국가자격증으로 인정받는 언어재활사의 자격 체제와 비교 고찰하여 궁극적으로 행동치료관련 자격의 국가자격화를 위한 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 행동치료관련 인력 양성 민간단체의 양성 체제는 자격요건 및 교육시간, 임상실습 및 감독, 학술활동, 시험 방식에 있어서 기관 간 차이가 크고, 보다 엄격한 자격체제로의 수정이 요구되는 항목들이 조사되었다. 행동치료관련 인력양성 대학 및 대학원의 교육과정의 경우 각 기관의 교과목들의 설정과 운영 방식도 매우 다른 것으로 나타났으며, 행동치료관련 교과목 개설 현황도 큰 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 언어재활사의 자격 체제는 국가자격증인 만큼 자격요건, 교육과정, 자격증 취득을 위한시험 규정 등 단일화된 인력 양성을 위한 규정이 마련되어 있었다. 특별히 교육과정은 필수 교과목, 선택 교과목, 실습 교과목을 명확히 제시하였고, 각각의 최소 이수 학점 등에 대한 세부 규정을 갖추고 있었다. 셋째, 행동치료관련 인력의 양성 체제를 언어재활사의 자격 취득 규정과 세부적으로 비교하였을 때 행동치료관련 인력 양성 기관들 중에는 자격요건의 규정, 교육시간, 교육과정, 학술활동 및 자격취득을 위한 시험 체제 등의 영역에 있어 좀 엄격한 규정으로의 재정비가 필요한 기관들이 발견되었으며, 행동치료관련 인력 양성 기관들이 공동으로 공유할 수 있는 인력 양성 체제 구축을 위한 단일화된 인력 양성 지침이 필요함이 발견되었다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 연구 결과에 근거하여 향후 행동치료관련 자격증이 민간공인 자격증화 혹은 국가 자격증화 되기 위한 기초를 마련할 수 있는 몇 가지 안을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to seek for revised plans of Korean behavior therapy related personnel qualification system for national official recognition by analyzing the regulations of behavior therapy related personnel qualification system of 4 private associations and 4 collage programs and comparing those with the regulation of Language Pathologists qualification system. In this study, 5 revised plans were suggested. Firstly, a college certificate should be the fundamental qualification requirement to be a behavior therapy related professional. Secondly, common and unified curriculum should be set for departments which train behavior therapy related personnel. The common and unified curriculum could have compulsory subjects, elective subjects and clinical practical and set the minimum number of credit hours of those subjects. Third, systematic curriculum for clinical practical and clinical supervision must be included. The qualification of behavior therapy related personnel should guarantee that a professional therapist experience quality clinical supervision from a skilled professional clinical supervisor. Fourth, revised plans of Korean behavior therapy related personnel qualification system should include subjects in professional ethics in the training curriculum and a qualifying examination for reinforcing ethics. Fifth, private institutions, academies, associations for training behavior therapy related professionals should be integrated into one organization to regulate revised plans of Korean behavior therapy related personnel qualification system.
