이 연구는 국제 기능·장애·건강 분류(International classification of functioning, disability and health;이하 ICF)를 기반으로 뇌성마비 아동의 글씨쓰기 속도의 관련요인을 분석하여, 체계적인 글씨쓰기 평가와 중재를 위한 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 뇌성마비 아동 103명을 대상으로 글씨쓰기 속도와 예상관련요인을 평가하였고, 최종 96명의 자료를 분석하였다. 글씨쓰기 속도의 관련요인은 ICF모형 따라 분류하였다. 글씨쓰기 속도의 관련요인은 신체기능에서는 인지기능의 시운동조직화, 시지각, 사고조작, 지남력, 공간지각, 운동실행, 감각기능의 고유수용성감각, 촉각, 근력기능의 어깨 벌림, 아래팔 엎침, 아래팔 뒤침, 운동기능의 양측협응, 상지속도이었고, 활동 및 참여에서는 앉은 자세균형이었다. 다중회귀분석 결과, 시운동조직화, 고유수용성감각과 양측협응이 좋을수록 글씨쓰기 속도가 빠르게 나타났다. 뇌성마비 아동의 글씨쓰기 속도 증진을 위해서는 시운동조직화, 고유수용성감각, 양측협응이 중요하게 다루어져야 한다.

This study investigated the effects of health related factors on handwriting speed in school aged children with cerebral palsy. The study included 96 elementary-school-aged children with cerebral palsy and the study was conducted from 04/07/2011 to 29/08/2011. Based on the ICF, factors related to handwriting speed were classified as personal factor, environmental, body structure, body function, activity and participation. Spatial perception, visuomotor organization and proprioception were significantly associated with handwriting speed. Efforts to manage and improve the handwriting speed of children with cerebral palsy should focus on visuomotor organization, proprioception and bilateral coordination.
