This paper aims to find the ways for media education by analyzing the narrative of 「Antz」. Taking the media education, viewers can make and enjoy the media by being active and critical. The media education of animation should lay emphasis on raising the ability of media literacy. Through this, we can 1) activate the independent and creative enjoyment by attempting to have productive conversation with animation 2) raise the ability of text literacy through animation 「Glassy Ocean」 resolutely abandons conveying the concluded meaning of text or the meaning from producer and activates the conversational relationship between the text and viewer by juxtaposing the paradigmatic narrative. Basing on this characteristic, I provided the learnable ways of media education such as the basic way of analyzing the text so that the viewer can actively start reading the text and creatively interpreting the analyzed content through analyzing the narrative of 「Glassy Ocean」. 「Antz」 shapes the process that the symbolized person(Z) aims to have a community as a real free person by targeting an individual, choice and freedom not being buried on the myth of a kingdom, duty, order and group. This is different from the target ideology or the way of shaping of 「Bug`s life」, but shows the limit of not being able to pass over the Diseny`s ideology in the part of contents. However, Dreamworks is different in the sense that it processes the characterization through the relationship among three people although Diseny sets up the clear composition of good and evil standing on the basis of dichotomy. Taking the contents of 「Antz」`s text as the clue, I provided the way for leading a person to continually develop thinking, various criticisms about the text and the ways of media education being based on the information of context.
