이 논문은 이규보 문학론에 등장하는 신의와 용사 개념과 관련, 그 내부에 잠장해 있는 반패러디 정서를 문체적으로 검증해 내고 아울러 그 과정에 발생한 아이러니적 문학 의식을 도출해내고자 하였다. 이에 따르면 <논시중미지약언>의 경우는 선배 세대의 작풍이 지닌 관습성과 타율성에 반발하면서 한시 창작 규범으로 엄존해 있던 형식의 지배를 벗어나려는 이론적 분투 과정을 반영하고 있다. 이규보는 무신집권기 이전의 미문 추구 경향을 의미에 대한 독창적 문제의식이 결여된 정치적 행위로 이해하면서 이를 천이나 기의 차원으로 해소해 보고자 했다. 그런데 문학 행위의 독자성, 즉 의미 구성의 자율성을 천재론적 시각에서 확보하고자 한 그의 의도는 문학 행위의 초문맥적 기원을 강조함으로써 역설적으로 당시 엄존해 있던 관습/문체/문법의 지배 논리와 가장 강렬하게 충돌할 소지를 안게 되었다. 이런 논리적 위험성을 두드러지게 노출시킨 것이 전리지의 편지로서 전리지는 이규보 문학론의 초월적 위상만을 배타적으로 강화시킴으로써 문학 존립의 현실적 기반마저 붕괴시킬 소지를 드러내고 있다. 이에 대해 일견 수긍하면서 그러나 그 논리의 위험성을 제거하려는 목적으로 지어진 것이 <답전리지논문서>였다. <답전리지논문서>는 문학의 초월성과 관습성을 중재하면서 그 사이 발생하는 이론적 긴장을 아이러니하게 이완시키는 독특한 문장구조로 이루어져 있다. 이는 문학의 천재적 창조성을 은근히 보호하면서 그것이 담지한 개혁적 본질을 약화시키고자 한 아이러니스트의 문체를 보여준다. 때문에 이규보의 글은 역설과 반어로 점철된 이중논리로 독해해야 하는 어려움이 발생하는데 이 역시 이규보가 자리했던 시대의 아이러니한 성격에서 유래했다고 보아야 한다.

This treatise investigates anti-parodic aspects of the concepts like creating meaning(新意) or following literary convention(用事) appeared in the literal essays written by Lee, Kyu-Bo in the point of rhetorics and discovers Lee`s ironic thought of literature. In the case of Nonsijungmiji-yakeun(論詩中微旨略言), it reflects Lee`s abstract resistance to the regime of form as the dogma of creation repulsing the conventionality and heteronomy. Lee regarded the tendency of persuiting for bell lettre during the period of military commander`s regime as the political action lacks of unique idea for creating new meaning. But his intention which aimed at the identity and autonomy of literature on the horizon of genius, paradoxically, resulted the hard collision with the prevailed logic of convention/style/grammar by emphasizing the trans-contextual aspect of the origin of literature. That exposed this logical dangerousness was Geon, Ree-Ji`s letter which could ruin the basement of the contemporary literature by emphasizing the transcendental aspects of literature. Partly accepting this opinion, of course, Lee described Dapgeonreejinonmunseo(答全履之論文書) in the purpose of eliminating this dangerousness. Dapgeonreejinonmunseo which constitutes special ironic style relaxing theoretical tension mediated the transcendentalism and conventionality of literature. This text shows ironist`s style that want to weakened the revolutionary characteristics of his own opinion on the chance of protecting the creativaty of genius. As the result of that, Lee`s texts contains hermeneutic difficulties originated from the ironic and paradoxical twofold logic which come from the ironic circumstances of the period Lee was in.
