본 연구는 주거공간으로서의 `집(home)`의 기능을 넘어 보다 능동적이며 개인화된 `돌봄(Care)`을 제공 해줄 수 있는 스마트홈 서비스에 주목하고, IoT(Internet of things)기술의 활용을 통해 사용자의 삶의 질 향상에 기여할 수 있는 스마트홈 서비스 청사진을 제안을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위한 연구방법론으로써 더블 다이아몬드 프로세스를 적용하였으며, 사용자 경험 분석 과정을 통해 날씨정보 중심의 서비스 비전을 도출, 서비스 청사진 및 프로토타입 개발을 통해 구체화 시켰다. 본 연구는 i) 중앙컨트롤러 디바이스와 App을 통해 사용자가 스마트홈 진입비용을 최소화하고 이미 보유하고 있는 가전제품들을 연결을 꾀할 수 있는 서비스 솔루션을 제안하고자 했다는 점과, ii) 다양한 형태의 소비자의 라이프스타일을 고려하고 이를 반영할 수 있도록 다양한 설정이 가능한 맞춤형 서비스 디자인의 제안, 그리고 iii) 에너지 절약에 대한 니즈를 서비스 어플리케이션을 통해 시각화 시키고자 했다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있으며, 향후 본 연구를 바탕으로 사용자 경험향상을 위한 스마트홈 서비스에 대한 연구가 확대되기를 기대한다.

This research focuses on smart-home service design providing more active and personalized `care,` and aims to suggest a blueprint of smart-home services that can contribute to advancing the user`s quality of life through the use of loT technology. The double diamond process was applied as a research methodology. The service vision focusing on weather information was derived through the process of analyzing user experiences, and it was refined through service blueprints and prototype development. This research is significant in that it i) suggests a service solution to minimize the initial entry price of smart-home technologies and integrate the home appliances already owned by the user through the use of a central controller device and application, ii) suggests a service design that considers various forms of customer lifestyles and allows a variety of personalized settings, and iii) attempts to visualize the needs for energy conservation through the service application. It is hoped that research about smart-home services to enhance user experience could be expanded on the basis of this study.
