This article examines strategies for teaching women`s history course in the postfeminism era. Recognizing that Many teaching strategies are contingent on institutional opportunities and constraints, I, nevertheless, discuss the questions of pedagogy in women`s history. While choosing texts, designing assignments, apportioning class time, using technology and evaluating students are major subjects that pertain to all of our teaching, it should prove interesting to explore these issues as they relate to women`s history courses in particular. What is feminist pedagogy using in women`s history class? Feminist pedagogy encourages, firstly, collaborative work and, secondly, creating a new syllabus in women`s history class. Students are divided into small groups and given a specific task for discussion and then at the end of the class groups discuss on certain themes. A new syllabus by students makes students active participate in and responsible of women`s history class. What is effectiveness of oral history or personal narratives, conducting students` own histories? How is it possible teaching women`s history through films? What is principle goal to be expected students obtain and experience in women`s history course? I expect that this article provides a guide for professors designing courses for the first time or seeking to modify existing courses.
