Ogamdo has the originality of an individual text, but it also displays the characteristics of a sequential poem that creates sense as a sequel. The first through the sixth sequel depict modern times that create fear and unrest of the subject and his/her struggle to escape from that fear and unrest. The first half of the poem diagnoses and records pathological symptoms the subject goes through because of his/her inability to deconstruct the solid subject. From the seventh through the fourteenth sequel is the record of the subject to get away from the modern world and to make his/her way into a man-made world. The dual selves are irreversible because both of them are under the control of the other being. As Ogamdo has no following work, it leaves an unsatisfied feeling from the lack of inquiry into this other being.
