본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 대학생을 대상으로 직업희망 척도를 개발하고 타당화 하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 Juntunen과 Wettersten(2006)의 척도 24문항을 번역·역번역 하고, 각 하위요인의 정의와 한국대학생들의 상황을 고려하여 추가로 30문항을 수집하였다. 수집된 문항은 CVI(Content Validity Index)평정방법을 적용하여 전문가 집단의 검토를 통해 예비연구에서 20문항을 선별하였다. 본 조사의 표본은 수도권, 충청, 강원, 영남, 호남권 지역에 위치한 8개교 대학생들로 299명(남: 134명, 여: 165명)의 탐색집단과 199명(남: 80명, 여: 119)의 교차집단이 참여하였다. 탐색집단을 대상으로 신뢰도와 문항의 일차원성 검토를 통해 직업희망의 3요인(경로사고, 주도사고, 목표)에 적절한 18개 문항을 선정하였다. 선정된 18개 문항에 대한 신뢰도 및 반분신뢰도를 산출하고, 탐색적·확인적 요인분석, 수렴 및 변별타당도, 교차타당도 검증을 통해 척도의 구인타당성을 확인하였다. 공인타당도 검증을 위해 진로결정 자기효능감, 진로태도성숙도, 진로결정몰입 척도와의 상관을 검토하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 직업희망 척도의 신뢰도는 경로사고(6문항) .83, 주도사고(6문항) .81, 목표(6문항) .83으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 작업을 통해 한국 대학생을 위한 직업희망을 측정하는데 타당한 척도가 될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 끝으로 직업희망 척도 개발의 의의, 한계점, 활용방안 등을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to develop and validate Workhope scale for Korean college students. To do this, we made the translation/reverse translation to the 24 items of Juntunen and Wettersten (2006), collected additional 30 items considering the definition of each sub-factor and the situation of Korean college students. The collected items were assessed by the CVI(Content Validity Index) rating method and selected 20 items from the experts` preliminary study. The sample of this survey was composed of the exploratory group 299 students(male: 134, female: 165) and the cross-group 199 students(male: 80, female: 119) of the 8 univesities that were located in the Metropolitan area, Chumgcheong, Gangwon, Youngnam, Honam area. Through the internal consistency and the unidimensional review of items with the exploratory groups, the questionnaire consisted of 18 items which were selected for three factors of Workhope(pathways, agency, goals). Reliability and half reliability of the selected 18 items were calculated and validity of the scale was confirmed through the exploratoty/confirmatory factor analysis, convergence and discriminant validity, and cross validity. For concurrent validity verification, the correlation of the career decision-making self-efficacy, the career attitude maturity and the career decision commitment scale was examined. The reliability of Workhope scale developed in this study was found to be pathways(6 items) .83, agency(6 items) .81, and goals(6 items) .83. This work confirmed that it could be a valid scale to measure Workhope for Korean college students. Finally, the implications, limitations, and utilization plans of Workhope scale development were discussed.
