본 연구는 김혜순의 시에 나타난 혈육의 성격에 관한 연구이다. 가족관계에서 구성원들이 어떻게 관계를 맺고 서로에게 어떤 위상을 부여하는지는 현대 사회의 가장 작은 단위인 가족을 통해 인간관계를 모색하는 작업에 해당한다. 필자는 90년대 여성 시인들이 추구하는 페미니즘에는 특수한 인자가 있다고 판단하고 구체적인 성격을 조망하고자 김혜순의 시를 선택하여 집중적인 조명을 시도하였다. 특히 `아버지`, `어머니`, `자식`의 관계를 통하여 각각의 구성원들이 어떤 가계도를 형성하는지 면밀하게 살펴본 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부권은 생물학적 위상만을 지닌 허위적 존재로 인식되며 혈육의 관계에서도 부정적인 역할을 담당하거나 무력한 존재로 그려진다는 사실을 밝혀내었다. 특히 여성에게 폭력을 행사하고 억압을 가하는 주체이며, 가족들에게 권위만을 강요하는 존재에 불과한 것으로 드러났다. 이러한 의도는 가부장적 사회에 대한 저항과 거부의 의미로 해석되었다. 둘째, 어머니와 관련된 혈육의 관계도에서는 전통적인 유교사회에서 강조한 굴종의 삶을 강요함으로써 억압받는 여성이 처한 현실을 적나라하게 묘사하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 파괴된 모성성을 통해 여성 스스로는 자신의 몸을 폐기함으로써 가부장적 사회에 저항을 하는 전략을 구사하고 있음도 알 수 있었다. 셋째, `자식`과 관련된 혈육의 관계는 자식은 더 이상 미래의 비전이나 기대치를 충족시키는 주체가 아니라 단순한 생물학적 연대기로 이어지는 주체일 뿐이며, 더욱이 `태아살해`나 `부모살해`와 같은 충격적인 상황을 스스럼없이 자행함으로써 혈육의 관계도를 해체하는 것으로 파악되었다. 이는 현대 한국사회의 혈육으로 이루어진 가족관계가 해체되는 과정을 적나라하게 드러내고 있다는 점에서 그 의미가 특별하였다. 넷째, 위와 같은 혈육의 관계도가 파괴적이고 왜곡되어 있음에도 불구하고 김혜순의 시에서는 심각하게 현실을 직시하거나 비판하는 모습은 보이지 않는다는 특징을 인지할 수 있었다. 이는 상황을 다소 희화적인 면으로 취급함으로써 심각하거나 `참혹`한 모습을 희석시키는 것으로 페미니즘의 시각에서는 비판받을 수 있는 여지가 있음도 알 수 있었다. 그러나 이러한 양상은 `태아살해`나 `부모살해`가 지닌 사안의 심각성을 중화시키는 것이 아니라 혈육의 관계도를 해체시키는 하나의 전략으로도 이해가 가능하며 오히려 기존의 페미니즘이 지시하는 본령을 벗어남으로써 새로운 해석의 가능성을 열어 놓은 것으로 이해되었다. 따라서 이와 같은 의미를 종합하면 90년대 한국 여성시의 관심은 여성의 억압과 밀접한 관련이 있으며, 여성해방의 방법론이 어떻게 각 시인들의 시각으로 분할되어 제시되는지 김혜순의 시를 통하여 역력하게 확인할 수 있는 계기가 되었다. 아울러 본고는 혈육의 관계도에서 제시된 모순과 아이러니를 극복할 수 있는 대안이 필요하며, 여성을 억압하는 남성의 권위나 제도가 성평등을 향해 어떤 방향으로 나아가야 하는지 그 목표를 가늠할 수 있었다는 데 의의를 두고자 한다.__

This research is about the meanings of blood relations shown in Kim hye-Soon`s poems. It`s about how family members get relations. And the work of studying human relations by present day society`s smallest unit, family. I estimated that there was a unique point in feminism that female poets in the 90`s tend to follow, so I gave Kim hye-Soon`s poem a spotlight in order to get to the specific parts of the unique point. The next is a summary of thoroughly examining what lineage each member of the family form as a father, a mother, and a child. First, I found out that the father`s authority is nothing but a false being, only possessing biological position, and that he plays a negative role or is described as a powerless being. The father is the one suppressing and using violence to female, and the one demanding only authority to his family. This intents in describing was analysed as resistance to the patriarchic society. Second, blood relations connected to the mother was described as being repressed by demanding a life of indignity in the traditional society. Also, woman themselves resistant to the patriarchic society by abandoning herself. Third, blood relations related to the child revealed that the child was no longer a subject to fill future visions or expectations. Especially, blood relations were destroyed by committing shocking things like feticide and murder of one`s own parents. This has a special meaning because this frankly shows the process of blood relationships breaking apart in the society of Korea. Finally, though blood relations are destructive and is distorted like shown before, Kim hye-Soon`s poetry doesn`t really look straight at the reality or criticize it. This humors the situation more or less and dilute in some serious or cruel aspects, so it has a chance of being criticized in the eyes of feminism. Therefore, with meanings shown upwards are synthesized, Korean female poetry in the 90`s have close connection with the depression of women. In conclusion, there is a meaning to it that it roughly shows where male authority and mechanism that suppress female should aim to get to gender equality.
