본고는 후기 중세국어 차등 비교 표지들의 특성을 세밀히 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 후기 중세국어의 차등 비교 표지들로는 `이라와`, `두고`, `두곤`, `롯`, `록`, `론` 등이 있다. 이들은 후기 중세국어의 비교 구문이나 비교 조사를 대상으로 한 연구를 통해 많은 특성이 밝혀졌지만 유사하면서도 조금씩 차이를 보이는, 이들 표지들을 한데 모아 각각의 특성을 세밀히 살핀 연구는 드물었다. 따라서 본고에서는 이들의 특성을 자세히 살펴보고 각각의 공통점과 차이점을 기술하고자 하였다. 그 결과 이들은 각각의 기본 특성과 사용환경 등에 따라 조금씩 차이를 보이는 것을 알 수 있었다.
The aim of this paper is to examine characteristics of markers of the inequal comparative construction in Middle Korean. These include `ilawa`, `twuko`, `twukon`, `lot`, `lok`, `lon`. As comparative constructions of Middle Korean, their characteristics have been broadly examined in studies that researched postpositions of Middle Korean. However, few studies have been undertaken to examine the markers in greater details as they are similar and yet vary slightly. In this context, the study closely examines the characteristics of the markers, and identifies their similarities and differences. The result shows that the markers differ slightly according to their basic characteristics and circumstances.
