이 글은 17세기 어부가의 갈등 구도가 어떠한 사회적 기운 속에서 생성된 것인지를 밝히기 위한 것으로, 장차 윤선도의 「어부사시사」에 대한 문학적 분석으로 나아가기 위한 예비 작업이다. 선행연구에서 필자는 윤선도의 「어부사시사」에 두드러지게 나타나는 사회지향성이 17세기 조선사회에서 형성되어 가고 있던 중앙 중심의 멘탈리티에 일정 정도 맥이 놓여 있다고 보았다. 그리고 그 연장에서, 이러한 사회적 현상이 동시대 어부가 작가인 나위소와 황일호에게서도 발견되는지 알아보았다. 그 결과, 다음과 같은 이해에 도달했다. 나위소의 어부가는 지방 양반의 힘이 중앙으로부터 나오기 시작함으로써 지방 사회 양반들의 독립성이 약화되어 가고 있던 시대의 산물이다. 황일호의 어부가는 중앙이 지방을 압도해 가는 시대에 중앙의 양반이 중앙으로부터 멀어짐으로써 느끼는 현존재에 대한 불안의 표현이다. 이상의 결과를 통해 `중앙-지방`의 권력 구도, 중앙 중심의 멘탈리티가 윤선도의 「어부사시사」를 떠받치는 사회적 정신적 분위기의 기반이 되었으리라 추정한다.

This study is to examine the social ambience in which the structure of Song of Fisherman in the 17th century was created and is a preliminary step for the literary analysis of Song of Fisherman created later by Yoon Seon-Do. This researcher considered that the social trend that is revealed conspicuously in the Song of Fisherman of Yoon Seon-Do was somehow in the context of the central mentality which was formed in the Joseon Dynasty of the 17th century, and furthermore, figured out whether that social trend was also found from Na Ui-So and Hwang Il-Ho who were the contemporary authors. The findings of this study indicated the followings: Song of Fisherman of Na Ui-So is the byproduct of the times in which the local nobility class had a weakened independence as the central government was the source of their power. Song of Fisherman of Hwang Il-Ho symbolizes the anxiety of central nobility class about their current existence as they were relegated to the post of fringes, overpowered by the central government. Based on the aforesaid, the power structure of center vs local class and the center-oriented mentality may obviously become the important key words in understanding Song of Fisherman of Yoon Seon-Do.
