본고는 『삼한습유』에 나타난 문헌들 중 經書와 史書 그리고 시정의 이야기들이 문맥상 어떠한 의미로 활용되고, 작품의 문체에 어떤 식으로 기여하는지, 그리고 기존 연구 성과에서 한걸음 더 나아가 수용 원전과 『삼한습유』 내의 구절과의 비교를 통해 어떠한 성격상의 변화를 겪는지, 특히 맥락상의 변화의 이유는 무엇인지를 검토한다. 이러한 분석을 위하여 원전의 출전을 밝히고, 원전과 『삼한습유』내의 내용과의 異同을 분석하며, 異同을 설정한 이유를 살펴본다. 또한 원전의 맥락에서 벗어난 새로운 맥락창출을 시도한 근본 이유에 대한 고찰도 진행한다. 이러한 일련의 작업은 『삼한습유』가 기존의 사유체계와 이념에 대한 부정을 내포하고 있음을 알 수 있게 한다. 그것은 19세기 조선사회의 공고한 유가적 이념의 균열을 보는 것이며, 근엄과 진지를 문학에서 미덕이라고 보았던 김소행 이전의 문학적 관습을 벗고 순수하게 서사와 재미에만 집중하는 경향을 파악하는 것이다. 『삼한습유』의 성과를 확장하여, 19세기 서사물 들과의 비교를 통해, 조선후기 소설사에서 작가의 창작 방법 경향을 파악하는 데 기여할 것으로 보인다.

This thesis investigate how Chineses classics, histories, and curbstone stories at Samhanseupyu are used by contextual meaning, are contributed to the style of the text, are changed in nature, and specially what makes the contextual change. For this investigation, the source of the original text are revealed, the original texts and contents of Samhanseupyu are analyzed in terms of differences and consistencies, are investigated why the differences and consistencies were made. And it will be studied about the basic reason why new contextual change was made. By these series of work, the fact is revealed that Samhanseupyu contains negative look at traditional system of thinking and ideology. And the fact is revealed that 19th centuries` Choseon Dynasty was shattered ideologically at Confusionism. And the fact is revealed that new trend which Literature as gravity and seriousness was changed to Literature as description and pleasure was formed. By widening this achievement, Samhanseupyu will be compared to another 19th centuries` works. After this, tendency about 19th centuries authors` way of creation will be figured out.
