이 논문의 목적은 중국에서 출간된 한국어 교재들의 감사표현과 그 응답 표현의 형태, 사용 맥락과 기능, 사용의 적절성 등을 살펴보는 것이다. 감사표현 및 그 응답표현은 의례적인 인사말처럼 사용되는데, 적절한 사용이 대인관계를 원활하게 한다. 감사표현은 공손과 관련된 것으로 대화 상황에 맞는 공손표현은 대화자간의 체면 손상을 줄임으로써 의사소통을 원만하게 이끌 수 있다. 공손표현은 언어 보편적이지만 언어 문화권에 따라 사용 상황이나 표현 방식 등에 차이가 있으므로 사회문화적인 배경을 알고 표현을 익히는 것이 필요하다. 이 논문의 주된 분석 대상은 중국에서 출판된 한국어 교재 14종의 대화문 524개이다. 비교를 위하여 한국 출간 교재 8종의 대화문 267개를 참고하였다. 2장에서는 감사표현의 형태, 사용 맥락과 기능, 사용 오류를 살피고, 3장에서는 응답표현의 형태, 감사 표현의 출현 위치와 응답표현 관계, 응답표현의 내용, 응답표현 관련 오류 등을 살펴보았다. 필요한 경우 한국에서 출간된 교재들과 비교하는 방식을 택하였다. 잘못된 교재는 학습 맥락에 의한 오류를 일으킨다. 감사표현의 생략과 부적절한 사용은 학습한 사람들을 무례한 사람으로 만들어 버린다. 교재는 학습 내용과 방법의 제시뿐 아니라 한국사회와 문화를 보여 주는데 현지 출판물을 교재로 하는 외국에서 교재의 정확성이 더 요구된다. 교재에 제시되는 표현들이 한국사회에서 용인될 수 있는 자연스러운 것일 때 의사소통 능력의 신장이라는 학습 목표를 달성하기가 좀 더 수월할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the adequacy of the expression type and use of words of gratitude and representation of its response in Korean language textbooks published in China. Words of gratitude and the response representation are used to some extent in common etiquette, whereas inappropriate use of them can be interfered to maintain the interpersonal relationships. As expression of gratitude is related to the polite conversation, words of politeness suited to conversational situation can lead to smooth communication by reducing face treating between the speaker and the interlocutor. Although words of politeness is universal phenomena of language there are many differences depending on the language usage and statement. it is necessary to learn how to express words under the social and cultural background. The main analytic objects of this paper are 524 dialogue sentences in 14 volumes of Korean language textbooks published in China. Sub data are 267 dialogue sentences in 8 volumes of Korean language textbooks published in Korea. We considerate forms, contexts, faculty and errors of words of gratitude in Chapter2. In Chapter3, we study expressions of responses about words of gratitude. It includes Forms, the relationship of reponses and locations of words of gratitude, functions, contents of responses and using errors connected with reponses of words of gratitude. Mistakes in textbooks lead errors in context of learning. Because the Korean textbooks show the Korean society and culture as well as contents and methods of learning, it is more important that the accuracy of sentences in foreign countries which people study Koran language with local publications. The more expressions in textbooks have receptive capacity, the more easy to achieve the goal of language study in Korean communicative ability.
