『Bakwha』 was a narrative method which borrowed history lessons as a topic to descriptively deal with the problems of control and extortion effectively. Also, Bakwha could pass on the message of resistance as well as convey emotional involvement to the masses by avoiding the censorship of Japan in 1930s, the period of Japan`s occupation. Pak Wha Sung`s 『Bakwha』, which used 「Seowoon」 of Yang bac kwha as a motive criticizes a social structural oppression with the problems of a laborer and a capitalist and a fallen religion in a simple plot of `reproval of vice and promotion of virtue`. And Bakwha, an ordinary female prostitute becomes a subject who resists against the contradictory social structure. As a fighter who had subjectivity against the world, before the issue of being a woman, who was never a sovereign nor a hero but a prostitute assumes the mantle for the liberation of the proletarian class. This research made a hypothesis that Bakwha may be related to the discussion of the anarchism of those days because 『Backwha』, whose story from beginning to end pursues freedom from the ruling authorities by allowing an indigenous value to an individual. And then, this hypothesis is clearer in the view that the personality of the independent `individuals` in Backwha, in the end, gets a pursuit of community by `joint responsibilities`. The community of Haejue organised on the central principles of 『Backwha』 promotes joint ownership of a means of production, self-sufficiency and a common labor force and by all these pursues `equality` in human relations. It was a utopia of the anarchism which was being discussed briskly in those days and especially it realized the importance of `village community as it is based on the reciprocal cooperation and support` of Kropotkin, Pyotr Alekseevich.
