이 글은 국어과 교육과정에서 살펴야 할 쟁점을 검토하고 국어과 교육과정을 체계화하기 위한 방안을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 지금까지 국어과 교육과정에서 다루어야 할 쟁점은 여러 가지가 있었지만 2015 국어과 교육과정이 수정·고시된 현시점에서는 다음과 같은 쟁점을 더 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 국어과 교육과정의 성격, 국어과 교육과정의 독자, 국어과 교육과정의 개발 주체, 국어과 교육과정의 하위 영역별 편성, 성취기준의 성격과 수준, 국어과 교유과정 평가의 부재가 그것이다. 한편, 국어과 교육과정을 체계화하기 위한 방안으로는 합리적 의사 결정 구조의 수립, 국어과 교육과정 개발을 위한 기초 연구의 축적, 국어과의 교과적 특성의 반영, 항존적 성취기준의 개발, 국어교사 양성 대학 교육과정 강의 강화 등을 꼽을 수 있다. 이러한 방안을 마련함으로써 앞으로는 국어과 교육과정을 좀 더 효과적으로 체계화할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This paper suggests some ideas on the issues and methods to systemize in Korean Language Curriculum Development. In Korean Language Curriculum Development, there are some issues : the natures or characters of Korean Language Curriculum, the readers of it, the sub-categories of contents in Korean Language Curriculum, the natures of levels of Standards, no evaluation of Korean Language Curriculum Development. And then, there are some methods to systemize : building reasonable structure of decision-making, reflecting features of Korean subject in school, building constant standards rather than short-term standards, reinforcing courses on Korean Language Curriculum in teaching colleges. These will be more good to develop Korean Language Curriculum next time.
