본 연구는 예비 과학 교사들을 대상으로 Cochran(1990)이 고안한 통합교육태도 측정도구와 Rigg과 Enochs(1990)이 개발한 과학교수 효능감척도를 활용한 설문조사를 통해 사범대학과학교육학부에 재학 중인 2,3,4학년 156명을 대상으로 통합교육에 대한 태도와 과학교수 효능감을 알아보았다. 특히 특수교육학 수강, 장애 가족 및 친척 유무 등의 배경변인이 통합 교육에 대한 태도에 차이를 보이는지를 알아보고, 과학교수효능감과 통합교육에 대한 태도간의 관계를 분석하였다. 이후 이러한 과학교수 효능감 정도의 차이에 따라 통합교육에 대한 태도의 차이가 나타나는지 분석하여보았다. 연구 결과 통합교육의 철학적 측면(M=3.17)과 통합교육의 유익성(M=3.14)에 대해서는 다소 높게 평정을 하였으나 통합교육의 전문가적 측면(M=2.74)과 통합교육의 지원적 측면(M=2.42) 낮게 평정하였다. 예비과학교사의 과학교수 효능감과 통합교육에 대한 태도 사이에는 약하지만 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 보였다(r=.168, p<.05). 특히 과학교수 효능감의 하위영역인 과학교수 자기효능감은 통합 교육에 대한 태도의 하위영역인 통합교육의 전문가적 측면과도 약하지만 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 보였다(r=.302, p<.01)본 연구의 제한점과, 후속적 연구를 위한 제언, 그리고 교사 연수 및 양성에 관한 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

The purpose of the current study was to examine pre-service science education teachers` perceptions of attitudes toward inclusion and their Science teaching efficacy. Scale for Teachers` Attitudes Toward Inclusive Classroom(STATIC) by Cochran(1990) and Science Teaching Efficacy Beliefs Instrument(STEBI) by Riggs and Enochs(1990) were adapted for this study. Statistical Analyses were used to compare respondents` demographic characteristics. Correlations analysis between STATIC and STEBI was also conducted. Overall, Only pre-service science education teachers who took special education class rated them higher than their counter partners with statistically significant difference. There was also statistically significant correlations between STATIC and STEBI. A discussion of the limitations of the current study are suggested. Implications for future research and teacher preparation also are discussed.
