본 연구는 `장애아동의 이해` 교과목을 수강한 대학생들을 대상으로 장애인에 대한 태도변화가 어떠한지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 융ㆍ복합 전공교과목으로 개설된 `장애아동의 이해` 강좌를 수강하는 3학년 학생 52명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 학생들의 장애인에 대한 태도 변화를 양적으로 분석하기 위해 학기 초와 학기 말에 장애태도검사를 실시하였고, 강좌를 수강한 학생들에게 개방형 질문지를 통해 장애인에 대한 태도변화를 질적으로 분석하였다. 그 결과, 장애아동의 이해 강좌 후 대학생들의 장애인에 대한 태도에서 유의미한 향상을 보였고, 장애아동의 이해 수강 전보다 수강 후에 질적인 변화를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 대학생들이 장애인을 이해하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 다양한 강좌가 지속적으로 개설되어야 함을 시사하고 있다.

The purpose of this study is was investigate the effects of special education courses on university student`s attitudes toward disabilities. The participants of the study comprised of 52 students who have taken the special education courses administered during the 1st semester of 2015. Attitudes toward disabilities were analyzed quantitatively before and after special education courses. The Journal of students were analyzed qualitatively in terms of attitudes toward disabilities. As a result of the research, after they have taken the special education courses, student`s attitudes toward disabilities increased statistically meaningfully. The student`s attitudes toward disabilities were positive changed during special education courses. Like this result the university students will be helpful in applicating inclusion education field and understanding to disabilities.
