본 연구의 목적은 지적장애연구 학술지의 연구 동향을 분석하는 데 있어서 사회과학분야에서 연구 특성 및 동향을 객관적으로 분석하기 위해 최근에 사용하고 있는 키워드 네트워크분석을 특수교육분야에서 새로이 적용하여 제시하는 데 두었다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 한국지적장애교육학회 홈페이지를 통해 자료를 검색하고, 게재논문에서 키워드가 제시되기 시작한 2002년부터 시작하여 2016년까지 게재된 총 589개의 학술논문을 최종 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 그리고 KrKwic과 KrTitle 프로그램을 사용하여 키워드 추출 및 코딩을 실시하고 자료를 정제해 핵심 키워드 28개로 1-mode 네트워크 행렬을 만들었다. 연구 동향을 파악하기 위해 빈도분석, 공출현 키워드 네트워크 분석에 기반한 네트워크 구조 특성 분석, 사회적 네트워크 중앙성 분석을 사용하였으며, 네트워크 분석 도구로는 키워드 네트워크 분석에서 많이 활용되고 있는 UCINET6와 NetDraw 프로그램을 적용하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2002년부터 2009년까지 지적장애연구에 게재된 연구는 총 233편으로 나타났으며, 주요 키워드는 `지적장애`, `통합교육`, `전환교육`, `발달장애`, `특수교육` 등으로 나타났다. 그리고 2010년부터 2016년까지 지적장애연구에 게재된 연구는 총 356편으로 나타났으며, 주요 키워드는 `지적장애`, `발달장애`, `전환교육`, `특수교사`, `통합교육` 등으로 나타났다. 둘째, 2002년부터 2016년까지 지적장애연구에 게재된 연구는 총 589건으로 나타났으며, 주요 키워드는 `지적장애`, `발달장애`, `전환교육`, `통합교육`, `특수교사` 등으로 나타났다. 즉, 지적장애연구는 지적장애와 발달장애의 전환교육, 통합교육 관련 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 지적장애연구 학술지의 연구 특성을 이해하는 데 필요한 기초 자료와 유용한 통찰을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to introduce keyword network analysis and find out the research trends of the journal of intellectual disabilities(JID). For investigating this journal, the final 589 papers were selected as subjects from the result of searching research databases(www.kaid.kr). After keyword extraction, coding, and data cleaning, we made a 1-mode network with the final 28 keywords using KrKwic and KrTitile programs. In order to find out the research trends, frequency analysis, social network structural property analysis based on co-keyword network modeling, and social network centrality analysis were used. The network analytic tools were UCINET and NetDraw programs. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the 233 papers were published from 2002 to 2009 in the JID and the main keywords were identified as `intellectual disabilities`, `inclusion`, `transition`, `developmental disabilities`, `special education`, and so on. The 356 papers were published from 2010 to 2016 in the JID and the main keywords were identified as `intellectual disabilities`, `developmental disabilities`, `transition`, `special education teacher`, `inclusion`, etc. Second, the 589 papers were published from 2002 to 2016 in the JID and the main keywords were identified as `intellectual disabilities`, `developmental disabilities`, `transition`, `inclusion`, `special education teacher`, and so on. The results of this study provide valuable insights to understand the studies of JID.
