본 연구는 스크립트 상황그림 카드를 활용한 역할극 중재가 지적장애 초등학생의 자기옹호적 언어표현에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 역할극 중재를 위해 구조화된 교실 환경에서 수행되었다. 연구 참가자는 지적장애가 있는 초등학생 3명이며, 중다 간헐 기초선 설계를 사용하여 독립변인과 종속 변수 사이의 잠재적인 기능적 관계를 확인하였다. 독립변수는 자기 옹호 상황에 기초한 스크립트 상황 그림카드를 이용한 역할극 중재였으며, 종속변수는 자기옹호와 관련된 정확한 구두적 표현의 비율이었다. 자료는 사건기록법을 사용하여 수집하였으며, 관찰자간 신뢰도, 중재충실도 및 사회적타당도를 산출하였다. 연구 결과 스크립트 상황 그림 카드를 이용한 역할극 중재가 참가자들의 자기 옹호적 언어표현을 증가시켰다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of the role-play intervention using script situation picture cards on verbal expression ability related to self-advocacy. The experiment was conducted in a structured classroom setting for role-play intervention. The participants of this study were three elementary school students with intellectual disabilities. For this study, a multiple probe design across participants was used to identify a potential functional relationship between independent and dependent variables. The independent variable was the implementation of role-play intervention based on self-advocacy situations. The dependent variable of this study included the percentage of the exact verbal expression related to self-advocacy by the participants independently and accurately. The results demonstrated how the role-play intervention using script situation picture cards was effective enough to teach the verbal expression ability related to self-advocacy for the participants. After mastering the, all three participants showed 100 percent accuracy after the intervention was mastered. In addition, the effects of the role-play intervention are effected on verbal expression related to self-advocacy in the follow-up post-intervention probe phases.
