이 연구는 개별차원의 긍정적 행동지원이 지적장애 초등학생의 특수학급에서의 공격행동, 소리 지르기, 물건 던지기에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 긍정적 행동지원팀을 구성하여 목표행동을 관찰한 후 가설을 수립하였으며 연구과정에 참여하였다. 중재방법은 선행사건 중재로서 학생의 흥미와 동기를 유발하는 교수환경을 조성하고, 대체행동 교수로서 요구와 감정을 표현하는 방법을 지도하였으며, 후속결과 중재로서 사회적 강화와 정적연습을 실시하였다. 연구방법은 행동간 중다기초선 설계를 적용하였고 기초선, 중재, 유지의 단계로 실시하였다. 문제행동 발생률은 부분간격기록법을 사용하여 측정하였다. 위의 연구결과를 통해 기능적 행동평가와 중다요소 중재를 통한 긍정적 행동지원이 특수학급에서 지적장애 초등학생의 문제행동을 감소시키는데 효과가 있었다. 후속연구는 특수학급과 통합학급에서 다른 유형의 장애 학생에 대한 긍정적 행동지원 비교 연구, 학교의 다른 공간, 지역사회에서의 긍정적 행동지원 실행연구, 가정과 학교가 연계한 긍정적 행동지원 실행연구 등이 필요하다고 판단된다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of positive behavior interventions and supports(PBIS) to reduce the problem behavior. The subject of this study was a second grade elementary school student with intellectual disabilities in special classroom setting. Target behaviors were aggressive behaviors, yelling, and throwing objects. The functional behavior assessment through survey and observation led to the hypotheses of problem behaviors. The positive behavior interventions and supports of antecedent, alternative behavior, and consequence were designed and implemented. The antecedent strategy was environmental reconstruction that induces interest and motivation of the student. Alternative behavioral strategies were teaching expected behaviors and instructing how to express needs and feelings. Consequent strategies were social reinforcement and overcorrection. This study utilized multiple baseline design across behaviors and measured the behavior using a partial-interval recording. The results showed that this study`s individualized PBIS were effective in reducing aggressive behaviors, yelling, and throwing objects.
