This study is aimed to analyse the national competitiveness through the number of convention held that is known to require comprehensive capacity of destination. This paper has three major performances: to review the published studies on destination competitiveness: to extract an proper set of key success factors identified to determine destination competitiveness mainly referring to Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report published by World Economy Forum. To analyse the relationship between the number of convention held and destination competitiveness, it is measured by regression. The result shows that the factors of accessibility, cultural and natural resources, tourism infrastructure and environment have positive effect on the number of convention held of 67 countries. Though the following other results vary on continents, convention players(countries), accessibility, cultural and natural resources, are interpreted critical factors among destination competitiveness factors.
