이 글은 `문학미디어`에 입각하여, 문학사 `서술`에 관한 부정적 인식이 팽배한 오늘날 문학사를 효과적으로 `구성`하는 방안을 모색한 것이다. 단원한 맥락을 준수하는 1차원적 선형논리에 입각한 문학사 서술은 그 기본적 필요성에도 불구하고 문학사 연구의 심화에 있어서는 한계를 드러내게 마련이다. 본래 문학연구의 대상인 텍스트들의 모본들은 다차원적이었기에, 그 종합인 문학사에는 사실상 무한정한 맥락이 놓일 수 있는데, 단지 문학사 `서술`에 의해 1차원적으로 축소되었던 까닭에서다. 그리고 이와 같은 문학사 `서술`의 한계는 미디어-테크놀로지의 진화와 함께 인식돼왔고 디지털 미디어 시대에 이르러 부각되었으니, 문학사의 불가능성 기조는 1차원의 선형 질서 아래 잠재돼있던 다차원적요소들과 무한정한 맥락들이 튀어나오는 형국인 셈이다. 따라서 이 글은 문학사의 1차원적 `서술`에서 다차원적 `구성`으로의 전환을 주장하며, 그 문제제기를 불러왔던 미디어-테크놀로지, 특히 디지털 미디어에서 그 가능한 대안으로 `문학사 디지털 웹`을 제안하였다. 온축돼있는 기존의 문학사 연구 성과들은 문학사 디지털 웹의 면밀한 제작의 모태가 될 것이다. 그리고 문학사 디지털 웹을 통하여 가능성의 문학사가 참신하고 풍부하게 구성될 수 있을 텐데, 그 활용은 무엇보다도 문학교육에서 먼저 이뤄질 필요가 있다. 오늘날은 고전문학뿐 아니라 문학연구 에서 다루는 현대문학 텍스트(작품)와 문학사 역시 오늘날 문화 주체들과 유리돼 있는 실정이며, 미디어-테크놀로지의 진화와 함께 문화 생산이 점점 손쉬워지고 확대되는 시대이기 때문이다.

This article is based on `Literature Media` and aims to find a way to effectively `construct` the literary history, today, where the negative perception about the `narrative` of literary history is widespread. Despite its basic necessity, the description of literary history based on one dimensional linear logic conforming to a unitary context reveals limitations in the depth of study of literary history. Since the examples of texts originally studied in literary studies were multidimensional, the syntactic literary history could have a virtually unlimited context, just because it was reduced in one dimension by literary history `narrative`. The limitations of literary history `narrative` have been recognized along with the evolution of media-technology, and it has come to the age of digital media. The impossibility of literary history is a pattern in which multidimensional elements and indefinite contexts are popped up under a linear order of one dimension. Therefore, this article argues for the transition from the one-dimensional `narrative` of literature history to the multi-dimensional `composition` and suggests `digital web history of literature` as a possible alternative in mediatechnology. The results of the existing literary history studies which are temperate will be the precise production of the digital web of literature history. And, through the Digital Web of Literature History, the literary history of possibility can be made fresh and abundant, and its utilization needs to be done first of all in literature education. Today, modern literary texts and literary history, which are studied in literary studies as well as classical literatures, are also now available to cultural subjects, and are the days when cultural production is getting easier and expanded with the evolution of media-technology.
