<한국어 교육과정>의 대상은 다문화 배경을 가진 학생 중, 중도 입국 학습자로 한정지을 필요가 있으며, 목표는 지금의 네 항목 외에도 사고력과 한국어 문식성 신장에 초점을 두어야 할 것이다. <한국어 교육과정>의 내용은 나름대로 체계화가 잘 되어 있지만 학습 한국어가 생활 한국어에 비해 비중 있게 다루어지지 않고 있다. 그리고 초급(1~2단계), 중급(3~4단계), 고급(5~6) 단계로 나누고 각 단계별로, 학교급별 언어 기능의 성취 기준을 제시하고 있다. 이 학교급별 차이는 교재를 만드는 과정에서 고려되는 것이 합리적이다. 그리고 <한국어 교육과정>과 그에 터해 만들어지는 교재와의 연관성이 중요하게 다루어지 않고 있다. [부록]의 역할이 교수 학습 내용을 선정하고 교재를 만들 때 상당히 중요한데, 그 역할이 모호하다. <한국어 교육과정>이 <국어과 교육과정>에 들어와서 자리를 잡으면, 어느 정도 교사 문제 해결과 함께 한국어 교수·학습이 효과적으로 이루어질 것이라 생각한다.

The structure of < KSL Curriculum > is same with < Korean Curriculum >, but the related stories are dissimilar. The subject of < KSL Curriculum > is included various leaners. The immigrated children of multi-cultural must be belonged to subjec of < KSL Curriculum >. The international marriage, north Korean, returnees children are needed special programs to learn Korean Language. The objects < KSL Curriculum > must be important to thinking skills, literacy. And in spite of the BICS(basic interpersonal & communicative skills)and CALP(cognitive academic language proficiency) are marked < KSL Curriculum >, the weight of BICS and CALP are not appropriate to be involved in curriculum and material. The levels of achievement are made up 3 -elementary, intermediatel, hige level, each level is made up elementary, middle, high school. The divisions of school class are not reasonable, this divisions will be rational to develop materials which be basis of curriculum. The < KSL Curriculum > is necessary to be included in < Korean Curriculum >, then KSL teaching turns out active and effective.
