In foreign language teaching, the use of good example sentences can not only help students understand the meaning and usage of vocabulary, sentence patterns and grammatical items, but also enable students to deepen their impressions and consolidate their memory, so as to achieve the purpose of putting into practice what they have learned. However, the cited examples should not be picked at random; instead, they should correct, scientific and reasonable, so as to make it easier for students to learn. This paper analyzes the problems of the example sentences in Korean textbooks and grammar books which are widely used in China for a long time, and puts forward the requirements of the design process in terms of material, thought, knowledge, utilization and culture.
