이 논문의 목적은 문학치료학의 특별한 위상이 `접속이론`의 수립으로 말미암으며, 서사접속이 문학연구의 새 지평을 열어줄 수 있음을 밝히는 데 있다. 논의의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기왕의 문학이론들은 `전달이론`에 기반을 두고 있다. 둘째, 기왕의 문학이론들은 언어적 의사소통 도식의 어느 한 요소에 편중된 관심을 보이고 있다. 셋째, 문학치료학은 `접속이론`에 기반을 두고 있다. 넷째, 문학치료학은 언어적 의사소통 도식의 모든 요소에 두루 관련되어 있다. 다섯째, `서사접속능력`은 `서사구성능력` 곧 `서사능력`이다. 여섯째, 서사접속능력이 잘 발현된 예를 `흥관군원(興觀群怨)`에서 찾을 수 있다. 일곱째, 앞으로의 문학연구는 `흥관군원(興觀群怨)`을 주목하면서 서사접속능력의 여러 측면들을 밝혀내는 데 주력해야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this paper is to reveal connection theory and to discuss about connection of epic and a new horizon of literary researches. The results of this paper are as follows. First, contemporary literary theory is based on delivery theory. Second, contemporary literary theory is based on one element of communication diagram. Third, literary therapeutics is based on connection theory. Forth, literary therapeutics is based on every elements of communication diagram. Fifth, connection ability of epic is epic ability. Sixth, connection ability of epic is well revealed on `heung(興), gwan(觀), gun(群), won(怨)` Seventh, new horizon of literary researches is connection ability of epic.
