이 연구에서는 2013년 2월 출범한 현 정부의 공공성(公共性) 지향 육아정책을 비판적 관점에 서 고찰하고，공동선(共同善)의 가치를 지향하는 정책으로 방향 전환을 제안하였다. 구체적으로 는 육아정책의 패러다임인 배금주의의 한계를 제기하고，아이를 가족으로부터 분리시키고 일 하는 여성의 임금 노동력에 초점을 맞춘 탈가족화의 정책적 목표가 갖는 문제점을 기술하였다. 그리고 영유아와 부모，기관의 교사들을 만성피로에 시달리는 육아공동체로 만드는，그리고 소수의 권력에 의해 수립되고 부실하게 시행되고 있는 속전속결형 육아정책의 현실을 문제점으로 지적하였다. 끝으로，현 육아정책의 한계에 비추어 공공성 지향의 현 정부 육아정책을 아이를 최우선으로 하는，상생과 참여의 공동선을 추구하는 정책이 필요함을 주장하였다.

The researcher critically reviewed the current government`s childcare and education policies. Accordingly, the limitations of the current child care and education policies were addressed in four different dimensions: first, the presence of mammonism in the policy paradigm； second, the de-familialisation of the working mother as a policy goal； third, the chronic fatigue of the community due to the regulated policy implementation; and fourth, the rushed style in which policy agenda is set and enforced. Finally, it was recommended that the fundamentals of child care and eduction policy need to be changed, current public interest to common good for the future society.
