본 논문은 오늘날 2016년 진행된 촛불혁명의 동력을 분석하는데 목표가 있다. 이를 위해서 감정구조라는 개념을 제안하고 그것의 적용가능성을 다양한 이론적 기반을 통해서 증명하려고 한다. 이것을 토대로 향후 한국정치의 특성을 문화론적 관점에서 이해하려고 한다. 이를 위해서 과거와 현재를 비교하는 방식을 선택했다. 즉 2008년 촛불집회와 2016년의 촛불을 비교하려고 한다. 2008년 촛불집회를 기점으로 한국사회에는 정치운동의 성격이 크게 달라졌으며, 2016년의 촛불은 감정정치학의 일반모델을 정립할 수 있는 계기가 된다. 본 논문에서 감정정치학의 구체적인 내용을 설명해 보았다.

This article aims at analyzing `the candle revolution in 2016. For this purpose, the author intends to propose the concept of emotional structure, and to investigate its theoretical basis. I will utilize this concept in order to understand the characteristics of korean politics. “Candle Revolution” could be compared between 2008 and 2016. I will approach 2008 as preliminary steps of political change in korea, and will finally try to approach 2016 as the general model of emotional politics.
