본고에서는 일한의 `문법화 형식의 부정의문문`을 대상으로 하여 형식적 특징과 통어적 특징을 중심으로 분석하였다. 그 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. ●일한의 해당형식의 형식적 특징을 비교하자면 일본어는 `명사술어의 부정형 유래의 문법화 형식`인데 반하여 한국어는 `동사·형용사술어의 장형부정 형 유래의 문법화 형식`이다. ●일한의 해당형식의 통어적 특징은 일한 모두 (ⅰ)분석적으로는 부정사를 포함하고 있음에도 불구하고 부정호응표현과 호응하지 않고, (ⅱ)「부정형+과거형」의 접속은 부자연스럽지만「과거형+부정형」의 접속은 자연스러우며, (ⅲ)「부정형+텐스 형식+인식 모달리티 형식」의 접속은 부자연스럽다. ●일한의 해당형식을 문법화의 관점에서 보자면, 통어적인 측면에서는 문법적인 것에서 다른 문법적인 것으로 변화하였고, 의미적인 측면에서는 주관적인 것에서 간주간적인 것으로 변화하였다고 할 수 있다.

This paper aims to compare and contrast the formal and syntactic characteristics of the negative question of grammaticalized forms in Japanese and Korean. Analysis results are as follows. ●The negative question of grammaticalized form in Japanese is the one originated from the negative form of predicate noun, whereas the negative question of grammaticalized form in Korean is the one originated from the negative form of predicate verb and adjective. ●The negative question of grammaticalized forms in Japanese and Korean do not co-occur with negative polarity items. ●In the negative question of grammaticalized forms in Japanese and Korean, the connection of negative form to past form is unnatural, but the connection of past form to negative form is natural. ●In the negative question of grammaticalized forms in Japanese and Korean, the connection of negative form to epistemic form is unnatural. ●From the perspective of grammaticalization, the negative question of grammaticalized forms in Japanese and Korean is the form changed syntactically from the grammatical one to the another grammatical one, and the form changed semantically from the subjective one to intersubjective one.
