The questions on where the utopia(Watatsumi-no-kami-no-miya/emerald　palace) that Urashimako visited is, and how did he return from there were scrutinized in terms of ancient astronomy. As a result, the utopia in the legend of Urashimako exists not under the sea but above the sky. This utopia is located at the Silver gate where the ecliptic passes through in between the Pleiades and Aldebaran around the milky way, thereby it is described as a treasure-filled dazzling place. Opening the Amenoiwayato from here leads to the entrance to Pleiades, the eternal world of abundance and fecundity. This Pleiades is namely the celestial land(天上仙家), where the turtle lady is from.
