이 연구의 목적은 Fusion 모형에 기반한 인지진단모형을 적용하여 일반계 고등학생의 비문학 독해 프로파일을 분석함으로써 비문학 독해에 요구되는 인지요소별 독해 숙달 수준을 점검하고 비문학 독해의 성취수준별 특성을 밝혀 독해 교수 학습의 방향을 탐색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 일반계 고등학생 356명을 대상으로 하여 비문학 독해 능력을 구성하는 인지요소 9개를 도출하고, 이에 따른 독해 문항을 제작한 뒤 문항과 인지요소 간의 관계를 명시한 Q행렬을 개발하고 Fusion 모형을 적용하여 일반계 고등학생의 비문학 독해 프로파일을 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반계 고등학생 전체 집단은 L1(텍스트 정보 확인)과 I2(생략된 정보 파악 및 예측)가 미숙달하였고 나머지 7개 요인은 부분 숙달한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 추론적 이해>비판적 이해 영역>사실적 이해 영역 순으로 인지요소 숙달 수준이 나타났고, L1>I2>C1>I3>L2>I4>W1>I1>C2의 순으로 일반계 고등학생의 비문학 독해의 인지요소 위계 순서가 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to diagnose the reading comprehension level of high school students and to analyze the profile of their read-ing comprehension. To carry out these tasks, attributes which comprise reading comprehension competency were extracted from 356 high school students, and the relation between items and attributes(Q matrix) was validated by using item parameters estimated from the Fusion model. The results of reading comprehension profile analyzation of high school students are as follows. First, with employing the cognitive diagnostic model, it could be possible to analyze the profile of high school students` reading com-prehension. Therefore, we could offer diagnostic information regarding their strong points and weak points. Second, we could be able to arrange learning pathways, level-based or tailored teaching-learning schemes about reading comprehension based on the analyzation of the attribute profile.
