연구배경 현대사회의 변화된 라이프 스타일에 따라 근거리 외출복과 실내복으로도 착용 가능한 라운지 웨어의 유행이 전개되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 길상의 의미를 반영한 만자문을 활용하여 감각적인 라운지 웨어를 제안하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구방법 연구 방법은 라운지 웨어 및 만자문에 관한 이론적 연구와 라운지 웨어 아이템 및 만자 모티브에 대한 선호도 조사를 진행하였고, 이 결과를 디자인 개발에 반영하였다. 디자인 개발은 Adobe Illustrator CS6을 이용하여 만자 형태를 활용한 기본 모티브 및 문양을 개발하였으며 이를 라운지 웨어에 적용하였다. 연구결과 기본 콘셉트는 감각적인 라이프 스타일을 추구하는 20대 여성을 위한 `Healing home & happy girl`로 편안하고 세련된 감각의 패션 이미지를 표현하도록 하였다. 색상은 선호 조사 결과와 2016 Pantone의 유행 색상을 참고하였다. 디자인 전개는 첫째, 나이트 웨어에서 가장 높은 선호도를 차지한 파자마 스타일로 박스 실루엣의 상하의 세트로 구성하였고 기본 모티브에 적용한 색상 및 패턴을 적용하여 차분하고 편안한 이미지를 표현하였다. 둘째, 캐주얼 스타일은 선호 아이템 결과를 반영하여 라운드 네크라인의 긴소매와 반소매 티셔츠, 이지팬츠, 스커트 아이템으로 구성하여 상호 코디네이션 시켜 착용할 수 있도록 고려하였다. 셋째, 스포티브 스타일은 슬리브리스 탑과 무릎길이 레깅스로 구성하였고, 상·하의 모두 의복 구성 면을 분할하여 다른 색상을 적용함으로써 역동적인 이미지가 표현되도록 디자인하였으며 패턴 적용 및 기본 모티브를 활용한 원 포인트 그래픽 이미지를 적용하여 디자인하였다. 결론 이상의 연구를 통해 독창적인 디자인 개발의 모티브로서 만자문의 무한한 발전가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 최근 트렌드를 반영하고 만자문을 활용한 차별화된 라운지 웨어 디자인을 제안하여 의의를 지닌다고 사료된다.

Background Along with the changing life styles in modern society, the newest fashion trend of wearing lounge wear as casual wear has become popular. This work is intended to suggest a sensible lounge wear with differentiated design by using the swastika shape 卍, which means a good omen. Methods As research method, theoretical examination on lounge wear and swastika shape was carried out and preference survey was followed about lounge wear item and swastika motif, and the results of which were reflected on development of design. Some basic motifs and patterns through modification of shape 卍 were made with Adobe Illustrator CS6 in the process of design development and they were finally applied to lounge wear. Result Basic concept was set as `Healing Home & Happy Girl` for females in the 20s seeking for a sensible life style, thus leading to presentation of comfortable and realization of sophisticated fashion image. In color, the preference survey about color tone and the color trend from 2016 Pantone were referenced. Designing processes are as follows. First, the pajama style, which has the highest preference in night wears, was constructed as upper-and-lower clothing set of box silhouette and the placid and comfortable image was given with adoption of colors and patterns applied in basic motif. Second, the casual style was constructed with long sleeved and short sleeved T-shirts with a round neckline, easy pants, and skirts with a reflection of item preferences so that items could be coordinated. Third, the sportive style was combined with sleeveless top and knee-high leggings, where both the upper and the lower were dissected in their clothing areas and different colors were used in them. This made it possible to give a dynamic image in design. One-point graphic image was also used for design with application of pattern and basic motif. Conclusion The studies conducted so far have identified an infinite potential for further development of the shape of the swastika as a motive for creative design. In addition, the proposition of differentiated designs of lounge wear decorated with the shape of swastika was estimated to be significant in that it reflects the recent trend of fashion.
