연구배경 본 연구의 목적은 영동지역 박물관의 전시공간과 방문객의 인식관계를 분석하여 앞으로 지역 내 박물관 전시공간에 반드시 고려해야 할 사항들이 무엇인지를 규명하는데 있다. 연구방법 이에 강원도의 4개 지역에 위치한 박물관을 방문하는 관람객들의 전시공간 만족도와 각 지역별 박물관 관련 전문가들의 면담조사를 실시하였으며 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 동선에 대한 불편으로 가장 높았으며, 휴게공간, 체험 프로그램이 가장 필요한 공간으로 나타났다. 둘째, 전시공간 공간구성으로 편의시설에 대한 만족도가 가장 낮게 나타났으며 향후 박물관은 입체적이면서 각각의 전시공간과 체험공간, 휴식공간의 성격에 맞는 공간배열과 전시디자인이 조화롭게 배치되어야 한다고 나타났다. 셋째, 박물관 전시 디자인 요소 만족도의 경우 내부 집기류에 대한 만족도가 가장 낮게 나타났다. 따라서 친환경적인 요소를 도입한 전시디자인 요소가 필요하며, 박물관 전시 역시 다양한 IT기기를 활용할 수 있는 전시 기법 등이 요구되었다. 결론 본 연구결과를 토대로 다음과 같은 제언을 제시할 수 있다. 첫째, 전시공간 측면으로 기존의 박물관의 이미지에서 여가 및 휴게공간으로 가볍고 쉽게 방문할 수 있는 지역의 필요한 문화시설로서 역할을 수행하도록 해야 한다. 둘째, 소프트웨어(프로그램) 측면으로 박물관의 지역 내 역할을 강조할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 개발하여 지역주민에게도 도움을 줄 수 있는 박물관의 역할이 모색되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

Background The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the display area and satisfying the visitor local museum. And this is to derive necessarily factors to be considered in the local museum exhibition space. Methods Method of this research is investigating satisfaction surveys in exhibition space of the viewer and expert interviews for four museums in Gangwondo. The results are as follows. Result First, the moving line is uncomfortable for most unsatisfactory and a seating area, experiential programs are the most needed areas. Second, the exhibition space was the lowest satisfaction with the facilities. The future museum is that each of the next three-dimensional exhibition space, spatial experience, resting spaces spatial arrangement and exhibition design for the nature is planned to be in harmony. Third, museum exhibit design element satisfaction shows the lowest satisfaction with the internal Furniture sets. Therefore, it is necessary that eco-friendly design element exhibition. And the exhibition of the museum is required to take advantage of a variety of techniques such as IT equipment. Conclusion Based on the results of this study it can be the following suggestions. First, the exhibition space will be required to serve as a cultural facility in the area that can be light and easy to visit the leisure and resting place away from the traditional image of the museum. Second, the future museum will be able to assist the local people to develop a variety program at software (program) side.
