오늘날 우리는 재난의 시대에 살고 있다. 우리가 살아가는 이 시대가 재난의 시대이며 이러한 재난 시대의 글쓰기가 재난에 의한 재난에 대한 재난적인 글쓰기 혹은 글쓰기의 재난이라는 것을 일찌기 인식했던 작가이자 비평가는 바로 모리스 블랑쇼이다. 그는 20세기 유럽철학 전반에 걸쳐 대단한 영향력을 끼쳤던 사람이며 그의 글쓰기는 재난의 시대와 삶 나아가 재난을 사유하는 것으로 문학의 존재 이유를 언어와 글쓰기에서 찾는다. 블랑쇼가 관심을 가졌던 독일 작가들 중 특히 카프카에 대한 관심은 지대한 것이었으며 그는 문학이란 무엇인가에 대한 본질적인 질문이 거론될 때마다 카프카를 많이 언급한다. 그가 카프카에게서 찾고 있는 글쓰기, 문학 그리고 삶의 의미 등은 바로 블랑쇼 자신의 것과 크게 다르지 않다. 본 연구에서는 블랑쇼의 저서 『재난의 글쓰기』와 『카프카에서 카프카로』를 토대로 언어의 사원(寺院)을 지키는 시인으로서 블랑쇼에게 글쓰기의 근본 문제들을 살펴보고자 하며 카프카의 독자로서 블랑쇼가 말하는 글쓰기의 예로 카프카의 중성적 글쓰기에 대하여 고찰한다.

Today we live in times of disaster. The author and critic, Maurice Blanchot recognized early that this time of our lives is a disaster, and that the writing in these times of disaster is a disaster within itself. He is a person who has had a great influence over European philosophy in the 20th century. His writing is based on disaster, living in an era of disaster, and finding reasons for the existence of literature in language and writing. The interest of Kafka, especially among the German writers who were interested in Blanchot, was enormous, and he often mentions Kafka whenever an essential question is asked about what literature is. In this study, I would like to examine the fundamental problems of writing to Blanchot as a poet who keeps the temples of language based on Blanchot`s writing “Disaster Writing” and “Kafka to Kafka”. Examples of writing by Blanchot I would like to consider the neutral writing of Kafka.
