本硏究では、脫境界的想像力を通して太宰治文學に現れたヘテロトピアの樣相を究明したいと思う。このために、ヘテロトピアを提案したフ一コ一の空間理論を適用して太宰の「人間失格」に現れた空間と登場人物とのダイナミックな關係を追跡し、その特徵を分析する。 自分だけの反空間(オルタナティブスペ一ス)を見つける過程は、生活の空間と死の空間を通過し、現實と接している。その隙間から水平·垂直的空間擴張を通してヘテロトピ生させている。 特に主人公の葉藏は自分だけの特定空間を背景にユ一トピアとディストピアの境界を越えて逸脫と再生を夢見ているが、こうした交涉と葛藤の關係の中で、それらが共存する樣相をヘテロトピアの觀点で分析し、新しい解釋を試みる。これは作品に現れたヘテロトピアの脫境界性を究明することで、太宰文學に新しい意味を付與するものである。

This research investigates the concept of heterotopia in Dazai`s literature through imagination beyond borders. This is done by applying the thoughts on different spaces proposed by Foucault who was the first to use the term heterotopia. His theories are compared and contrasted to the spaces, characters and their dynamic relationships in Dazai`s work No Longer Human. The process of finding one`s counter space (alternative space) is to pass through spaces of life and death and face reality. In between those spaces, spaces are expanded horizontally and vertically to transform into a heterotopic space. This space affects the inner qualities of the characters and new points of surplus are derived from it. As his own specific space set as the backdrop, the main character Yozo passes the boundary between utopia and dystopia, dreaming of escaping and reclaiming life. In this conflicted situation between negotiation and interference, the coexistence between the struggles are analyzed through a heterotopic perspective to give rise to a new explanation. By investigating the heterotopia in this literature beyond borders, a distinct meaning will be given to Dazai`s work..
