본 연구에서는 창의융합형 인재 양성을 위한 교육대학교 교육과정의 개선 방향을 찾는 것을 연구의 목적으로 한다. 이 연구목적을 위하여, 전국 11개 교육대학교 및 한국교원대학교 학생 1,133명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고, 2차례 집중토론 통해 위 대학교 교수 26인의 의견을 분석하였다. 주요 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 졸업이수학점이 상대적으로 많은 대학교가 학점수를 축소하고 다른 대학들은 현행 유지하는 것이 바람직하다. 둘째, 졸업이수학점에 비해 실제이수시수가 너무 많은 대학은 그 간극을 축소하는 방향으로 교육과정을 개정하되 교육의 질을 담보할 수 있는 시수를 확보하도록 한다. 그 간극이 적거나 일치하는 대학은 현행대로 유지하는 것이 바람직하다. 셋째, 창의융합형 인재 양성을 위해, 심화학점 선택의 폭을 넓혀 주고, 예체능실기에서 학점 이수 방법을 이원화할 필요가 있다. 이를 안정적으로 운영하기 위해서는 5년제 교원양성과정을 개설하는 것이 바람직한 대안이 될 것이다. 넷째, 창의, 인성, 융합 관련 강좌 개설 및 강좌별 보완, 교직에서 현장연계가 요구된다. 다섯째, 창의융합 역량을 키우기 위해서, 학생들이 타전공 심화과정에서도 교과목을 선택할 수 있도록 관련 규정을 개정할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to search for the direction of curriculum improvement of elementary school teacher preparation education for cultivating creative convergent talents. For this purpose, a survey about improving elementary school teacher preparation education curriculum was conducted to nationwide 1,133 university students of teacher education. and focus discussion was done among 26 professors of 10 universities on teacher education two times. The drawn conclusions are the followings. First, it is better for the universities imposing relatively large credits to graduate to reduce those. Second, the university which has big gap between the credits and a real class time should try to lessens the gap. Third, it is better to adjust the advanced course credits higher, and practical practice classes in physical education and art classes should be classified into two tracks to student`s need. Fourth, it is necessary to open new courses with such traits as `creativity`, `character`, `fusion`, and `community connection` for teacher preperation education curriculum. Fifth, it is more appropriate to amend the relevant regulations to make students choose one more advanced course.
