본 연구는 개인중심계획(PCP, person- centered planning)의 촉진자를 훈련하는 프로그램의 개념적 모델을 제공하기 위해 실행되었다. 이를 위해 연구자는 국내외의 실제 교육 프로그램들을 찾아 살펴보았다. 짧게는 10년에서 30년에 이르는 역사를 가진 각 기관들에서 제공하고 있는 PCP 촉진자 훈련 프로그램의 내용은 PCP의 철학, 개념과 모델 및 적용으로 구성되어 있었다. 이들 PCP 촉진자 훈련 프로그램은 워크숍 형태의 면대면 교육, 영상과 교육자료 및 웨비나 형식의 온라인 교육을 통해 이루어지고 있었다. 또한 국내 PCP 촉진자들과의 핵심집단면담을 통하여 국내 PCP 촉진자 훈련에 대한 현장의 요구를 조사하고 시사점을 도출하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, PCP 촉진자 훈련 프로그램의 내용은 PCP 이론과 더불어 PCP 촉진자의 역할과 촉진 기술에 대한 체계적인 내용이 보강될 필요가 있다. 둘째, PCP 촉진자 훈련프로그램의 구성은 교육 대상의 전문성과 교육목적에 따라 구분되어 진행될 필요가 있다. 셋째, PCP 촉진자 훈련은 지속적이고 체계적인 시스템으로 수립되어 운영될 필요가 있다. PCP촉진자 훈련의 교육 방법은 면대면 교육을 중심으로 하되 온라인 커뮤니티와 컨설팅 및 자료제공을 보조적인 수단으로 활용하며, 중급 이상의 PCP 촉진자가 교육자의 역할을 수행하여 상호간의 전문성 증진에 기여할 수 있는 방식이 적절할 것이다. 마지막으로 지적장애 및 발달장애 교육 및 서비스 현장에서 PCP의 적용을 활성화하기 위하여 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.
This study was conducted to provide a conceptual model of a program to train PCP facilitators to promote the best practice of person-centered planning for people with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities. The researcher searched the actual training program for PCP facilitator. The contents of the PCP facilitator training program provided by each institution with the history of 10 to 30 years were the philosophy, concept, model and application of the PCP. These PCP facilitator training programs consisted of face-to-face training in the form of workshops, and online training such as video, training materials, and webinars. In addition, the researcher conducted interviews with domestic PCP facilitators to investigate the needs of field and draw implications for the training program. The results of the study show that the content of the PCP facilitator training program needs to be improved with the systematic facilitation technology for PCP. The composition of the PCP facilitator training program needs to be organized in a systematic and continuous manner by dividing the areas or phases according to the facilitator-to-be`s professionalism and educational purpose. It is appropriate to use PCP facilitator training method as an auxiliary means to provide online community and consulting and data centering on face-to-face education. Finally, suggestions for follow-up research are made to activate the application of PCP in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities education and services.
