본 연구의 목적은 시각장애학생의 음악관련 인지적, 환경적변인과 음악학습동기를 배경변인별로 알아보고 그 관계를 분석함으로써 이들의 음악교육의 개선방안을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 의의가 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 전국 시각장애학교 중, 고등학생 205명을 대상으로 SPSS 24.0을 이용하여 T-test와 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과와 논의에 기초한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시각장애학생의 음악관련 인지적변인, 환경적변인, 음악학습동기는 여학생이 남학생보다 높고, 중학생이 고등학생보다 높았으며 맹학생이 저시력학생보다 높다. 선천성 시각장애학생이 후천성 시각장애학생보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 시각장애학생의 음악적 기대-가치, 음악교사영향, 음악적 자기효능감, 음악적 목표지향, 가정음악환경 순으로 음악학습동기에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 중심으로 후속적인 연구에 필요한 사항을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for improvement of musical education of students with visual impairment by analyzing music related cognitive and environmental variables, and music learning motives. In order to achieve this goal, we conducted a T-test and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 24.0 for 205 middle and high school students with visual impairment. The conclusions based on the results and discussions of the research are as follows. First, music related cognitive variables, environmental variables and music learning motivation of students with visual impairment were higher in girls than boys, middle school students than high school students, blind students than low vision students, and congenital blind students than acquired blind students. Second, there is a significant effect on musical learning motivation in order of musical expectations - Value of students with visual impairment, music teacher influence, musical self-efficacy, musical goal orientation, home music environment. Based on the results of this study, the following points were suggested.
