연구 목적 : 본 연구는 예비교사와 예비특수교사들이 장애아동을 위한 평생교육에 대한 인식을 조사, 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 방법 : 부산과 천안 소재 대학교 사범대학에 다니는 학생 126명을 대상으로 편의 표집하여 21문항으로 구성된 설문지를 실시하였고, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0으로 빈도분석과 카이검정을 하였다. 연구 결과 : 예비교사와 예비특수교사 모두 ‘평생교육’에 대해서는 긍정적인 인식을 가지고 있었지만 ‘장애인 평생교육’에 대해서는 예비교사보다 예비특수교사가 더 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 예비교사와 예비특수교사 모두 장애인 평생교육이 삶의 질 향상에 도움이 되며, 궁극적으로 장애인의 자립을 위해 필요하다고 생각하고 있었다. 장애인 평생교육 프로그램 기획시 예비교사와 예비특수교사 모두 직업능력 향상교육이 필요하다고 하였지만 예비교사는 직업능력 외에 기초문해교육이 중요하다고 생각하였고, 예비특수교사는 문화예술이 필요하다고 인식하고 있었다. 뿐만 아니라 연구대상자 모두 장애인 평생교육은 혼합형태로 운영될 필요가 있겠다고 답하였지만 예비교사는 혼합형태 외에 특수한 형태인 평생교육이, 예비특수교사는 통합된 평생교육이 중요하다고 생각하고 있었다. 결론: 본 연구 결과에 기초하여 장애인의 평생교육 활성화를 위해 예비교사 및 예비특수교사의 구체적인 지원 방안을 논의 하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to survey the awareness of the disabled lifelong education program on preservice general teachers and preservice special education teachers. Method: The participants of the study are 126 students who are studying in the University of Pusan and Cheonan, a school of education. The study administrated a questionnaire and collected data which was analyzed by frequency, descriptive statistics and chi-square test. Results: The results showed that all participant had positive perception about lifelong learning. Preservice teachers thought that basic literacy education was important besides vocational ability. The preservice teachers thought a special form is also important for the disabled while the preservice special education teachers thought that integrated form is also important for them. Conclusion: The implications and suggestions of these findings for lifelong education of the disabilities, and future studies were discussed.
