최근 들어 한국 사회도 점차 다문화사회로 변화하고 있다. 이에 따라 다문화교육 관련 연구들에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 유아 다문화교육 실험 연구에 대한 전반적인 동향 분석과 CEC(2014) 질적평가지표에서 제시하는 기준에 따라 질적 수준을 분석하는데 있다. 검색 결과 국내에서는 2016년까지 유아 다문화교육 실험 연구가 총 34편이 발표되었다. 본 연구는 다음 절차에 따라 이루어졌다. 첫째, 분석 대상 논문의 출판 동향, 학술지별 분석 등의 연구의 전반적인 동향을 살펴본 후 둘째, 대상자 연령, 독립변인, 종속변인 등에 따라 분석하였고, 셋째, CEC(2014) 질적평가지표에 따라 분석하였다. 마지막으로 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 논의 및 향후 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

Recently, Korea society are becoming multicultural. There has been a increase of interest in research related to the multicultural education. The purpose of this study was to analyze the research trend of multicultural education for young children and to analyze the research rigor trough the CEC(2014) quality indicator. The search result showed that there were 34 studies published in Korea until 2016 on multicultural education for young children. This study was based on these procedure. First, this review investigated general features of the studies such as publishing trend, journal title. Second, this review analyzed by childrens' age, independent variables, dependent variables, and CEC(2014) quality indicator. Lastly, discussion and suggestions for future research were provided.
