이 연구는 협동 글쓰기가 작문 지도의 효율적인 방안이자 작문의 근본적 속성을 반영하는 중요한 과정임에 주목하고, 향후 협동 글쓰기 실천 및 연구를 위한 주요한 이론적 기반을 제공하고자 기존 연구 성과들을 체계적으로 정리하고 유형화하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여, 체계적 문헌 고찰의 방법론을 도입하여 국내 2개, 국외 3개 데이터베이스에서 총 6,795편의 관련 연구물들을 수집한 후 국내 34편, 국외 189편을 최종 선정하여 표제어를 중심으로 연구 경향을 파악하였다. 자료의 분석은 네트워크 분석 기법을 도입하여, 빈도 분석, 가중 네트워크 중심성 지수에 의한 동시출현 관계 분석, PFNet과 PNNC에 의한 군집 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 국내외 연구물의 군집에 따른 몇몇 경향들을 도출하였으며 국내와 국외의 연구 경향에는 다소 차이가 있음도 밝혀졌다. 국내 연구에 비해 국외 연구에서 각 군집별 구체성 및 경향성이 더욱 두드러졌다. 국내의 경우 관련 연구물의 절대적 수치도 부족하고 이렇다 할 경향성을 발견하기 어려웠지만, 국외의 경우 온라인 기반의 다양한 협동 작문 도구들에 더욱 많이 주목하고 있음을 확인하였다. 그러나 국내와 국외 모두 협동 글쓰기 분야에서 사회적 상호작용이나 정서적 요인과 관련된 연구가 상대적으로 부진함을 알 수 있었다.

Collaborative writing has been regarded as one of the important processes reflecting the fundamental feature of writing as well as an effective way of writing instruction. This paper aims to organize and categorize the existing research products to offer the main theoretical basis for implementing and studying collaborative writing. For this purpose, a methodology of a systematic review was introduced: 6,795 articles were collected from 2 domestic and 3 international databases. Among them, 34 domestic and 189 international articles were finally selected. Their title words were analyzed in terms of network analysis. Frequency, weighted centrality, pathfinder networks(PFNet), and parallel nearest neighbor clustering(PNNC) were produced and analyzed. As a result, some trends according to clustering of studies turned out to be different between domestic and international research. International research trends were more concretely and obviously categorized than domestic trends and were more focused on the various online-based tools. However, social interaction or affective factors in collaborative writing have been relatively neglected in both domestic and international research.
