이 연구는 쓰기 과제의 개념과 교육적 기능을 밝히고 쓰기 과제를 구성하는 요소를 선정하여 이를 상세화하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 쓰기 과제의 개념을 재정립하고 그 기능을 교수 학습을 위한 도구, 쓰기 능력 확인 및 평가, 글쓰기에 필요한 정보 제공, 필자로서의 정체성 형성을 위한 쓰기경험 제공으로 보았다. 그리고 수사적 측면에 초점을 두어 선행 연구를 검토한 결과, 쓰기 과제 구성 요소를 주제, 목적, 독자, 방법, 필자로 선정하였고, 쓰기 교육과정의 교육 내용을 반영하여 이를 상세화하였다. 이 연구는 교사에게 교육적 의도를 담아 다양한 형태의 쓰기 과제를 구성할 수 있는 기반을 제공하고, 학습자에게 쓰기 과제로부터 쓰기에 필요한 정보를 해석하고 이를 실제 글쓰기에 반영함과 동시에 필자로서 유의미한 쓰기 경험을 할 수 있는 토대를 마련해 주었다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 추후과제 구성 요소 간의 관계와 상세화 정도를 고려하여 실제 쓰기 과제를 설계하고 나아가 그러한 쓰기 과제가 실제 쓰기로 나타나는 양상을 살피는 실증적인 연구가 이어져야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the concepts and educational functions of the writing assignment and to select the elements that compose the writing assignment and specify them. To this end, the concept of writing assignments were redefined as the functions as tools for teaching and learning, verifying and evaluating writing ability, providing information for writing, and providing writing experiences for writing as an author. In addition, the previous research reviewed on the rhetorical aspects, and selected the writing assignment components as subjects, objectives, audiences, methods, and writers, and then detailed them by reflecting the contents of the writing curriculum.The purpose of this study is to provide teachers with a basis for constructing various types of writing assignment with educational intention, to interpret the information necessary for writing from the writing assignment to the learner, It is meaningful that it provided the foundation that can be done. It is necessary to design empirical writing assignment in consideration of the relationship between the assignment components and the degree of detailing, and then conduct empirical studies to examine the patterns in which such writing assignment appear as actual writing.
