Competence, personality, creativity and convergence in the curriculum(2015 Revised National Curriculum) are not easy terms. The Korean language education has the responsibility to respond to the demands presented by the curriculum and the demands of the Korean language itself. This article attempted to discuss research achievements and possibilities based on the above terms in the curriculum(2015 Revised National Curriculum). The core competence of Korean language education is the collective capability of learners encompassing the knowledge, skill and attitude required to successfully cope with the success of the present and future life. The purpose, core values, and core competencies of character education are in common terms with Korean language education. It is difficult to find someone who uses Korean language education to clean up its inner self through language, and to deny it as a human being. Due to the nature of the language, the Korean language education will be highly influenced by the importance of education because the contents of the language are very rich and diverse. Given that the emphasis on core competence, personality and creativity is emphasized in the essence, emphasizing these things in education, education can emphasize the importance of these things. However, in the educational act of fostering language proficiency, it is not independent but rather interconnected. In the curriculum of the emphasis on core competence, personality and creativity, the success and failure of Korean language education of the creative·convergence with Korean language educational ability and the right character will be judged according to the growth and potential for change of the learner.
