This paper is a trial to find out the difference of semantic expansion between Japanese 'noru(のる)' and Korean 'tada(타다)' by utilizing CEMS(Cultural Element Mining System) which has been developed at Lee(2016). Since Japanese 'noru(のる)' and Korean 'tada(타다)' belong to the same frame of ride_vehicle('In this frame a Theme is moved by a Vehicle which is not directly under their power. The Source, Path, Goal, or Area of the motion may be indicated. The Distance traveled or the Speed of motion may also be indicated. A route or Road may be present and the Manner in which the Theme moves may be given.'-https://framenet.icsi.berkeley.edu/fndrupal/framenet_data-), general lexical elements(i.e., 'area', 'path', 'vehicle', 'distance', 'duration', 'manner', 'purpose') which are highly frequently co-occurring with each language have the related meaning with the definition of the ride_vehicle frame. By the way, regarding with the cultural elements which generally have low co-occurrence frequencies, the Japanese cultural elements('ryuukou(流行)-2.65', 'hanasi(話)-4.96', 'tizu(地圖)-5.28', 'hiza(膝)-5.66', 'ikioi(勢い)-8.48', 'tyousi(調子)-14.63', 'sinbun(新聞)-16.62', 'soudan(相談)-17.19') collocated with Japanese 'noru' almost have the very deviated meaning with the ride_vehicle frame, whereas the Korean cultural elements('byuk(벽)-1.95', 'radio(라디오)-2.17', 'loyeoum(노여움)-2.46', 'kiryu(기류)-3.08', 'eudum(어둠)-4.96', 'rollercoast(롤로스케이트)-5.28', 'bombaram(봄바람)-5.66', 'urumse(오름세)-8.52', 'kupmulsal(급물살)-8.96', 'bakma(백마)-17.19') collocated with Korean 'noru' have the very related meaning with the same frame showing the principle of 'contiguity' and 'similarity'.
