이 연구는 지적장애학생을 위한 안전교육 교육과정 내용체계를 개발하기 위해 기존에 개발된 비장애 학생 및 성인에 대한 안전교육 자료의 교육내용을 분석하여 지적장애 학생을 위한 안전교육 교육과정 내용체계(안)을 개발하는 데 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 문헌분석을 통해 얻어진 안전교육 교육과정 자료를 바탕으로 특수교육 관련 각계 전문가 29명이 참여한 델파이 조사를 통해 지적장애학생에게 요구되는 안전교육 교육과정의 내용을 선정하였으며, 이를 다시 전국의 특수교사에게 현장적합도를 물었다. 설문에 참여한 특수교사는 208명이었다. 연구결과, 지적장애학생에게 필요한 ‘가정’, ‘여가문화 시설’, ‘학교시설’, ‘교통시설’, ‘기타’의 5개 영역 53개의 안전교육 내용요소를 선정할 수 있었다. 이는 향후 지적장애학생을 위한 체계적인 안전교육과 관련 교육자료 개발에 많은 도움을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to develop contents system of safety education curriculum for students with intellectual disabilities. For that we analyzed the contents of the safety education materials for previously developed non-disabled students and adults. Through this process the safety education curriculum data obtained through literature analysis was selected by the Delphi survey involving 29experts from various fields related to special education. A total of 208 special education teachers from all over the country conducted surveys and checked applicability. According to the research result, subjects of the safety education curriculum‘s Content for students with intellectual disabilities were divided home, leisure and culture facilities, educational facilities, transportation facilities and other facilities. the elements of curriculum contents were organized total 5groups, 53contents. The safety education curriculum‘s Content of school for students with intellectual disabilities can be used as research data in the future and safety education materials in the school for students with intellectual disabilities.
