특화거리란 도시 내에서 유사한 기능의 업종들이 이익의 창출을 목표로 특정한 범위 내에 군집을 이루는 거리를 말한다. 이런 과정을 통해 번화한 상업거리는 도시의 독자성과 고유성을 부여함으로써 그 지역만의 특별한 가치를 지니게 한다. 이렇듯 중요하게 작용하는 특화거리에 있어 색채는 특히 경관형성에 매우 중요한 구성요소로 작용한다. 색채는 고유의 이미지를 가지고 있으며 상업가로의 분위기를 좌우함으로서 그 지역만의 고유한 느낌을 만들어내기 때문이다. 이와 관련해 본 연구에서는 광교 신도시의 광교 카페거리를 대상지로 선정하여 현황 색채를 분석한 뒤 색채가이드라인의 상업지역 색채사용지침에 근거하여 비교, 분석해보고자 하였다. 현장에서 추출된 색채 값들을 색상, 채도, 명도로 나누어 분포도를 분석하였고 이미지형용사를 분석하기 위해 IRI의 이미지형용사 분석 틀을 이용하였다. 대상지의 색채현황을 종합해보자면 색상에서는 N(neutral)계열이 30%이상으로 가장 많은 분포를 나타냈고 채도는 2~4단계가 가장 많았으며 명도는 6~8단계가 가장 많이 분포하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이미지형용사에서는 정적이고 딱딱한 축에 집중되어 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 색채가이드라인과 비교분석한 결과, 첫 번째, 색상에서는 다양한 색상군이 사용되지 않은 점이 두드러지게 비교되었다. 두 번째, 색채가이드라인에서 명도와 채도는 각각 7이상, 4이하의 단계를 사용할 것을 제시하지만 대상지의 현황은 여러 단계에 걸쳐 분산되어 있었다. 세 번째, 이미지형용사에서 색채가이드라인은 동적인 축에 치우친 색채들의 사용을 권장하지만 대상지의 현황은 단조로운 축에 집중이 되어있었다. 이렇듯 대상지의 색채의 현황과 색채가이드라인의 비교분석을 진행하였으며 이를 통해 본 연구는 가로공간의 목적에 부합하는 색채가이드라인의 중요성과 올바른 적용을 주장한다는 데에 그 목적을 두고 있으며 앞으로의 색채가이드라인 형성에 기초자료로서 도움이 되고자 한다.

Specialized street has been developed in particular area to create profits by which has similar punction in businesses. A well specialized street has great potential effect to have identity and uniqueness for their cities. And especialy, color is important to create their own image that could induce consumers to feel uniqueness, In reference to this feature, it has been gradually important to analyse about its related field. As a result, each government has established Color Design strategies to improve their identified Urban Image. But Gwang-gyo cafe street that located in Gwang-gyo New town has unsuitable colors comparing with planing strategies. This street presents quiet and peaceful images despite commecial area is supposed to present exciting and dynamic image in Gwang-gyo New town's color planing strategies. So in this study, we analysed the colors using in Qwang-gyo cafe street to figure out the differences with the color strategies. First, we analysed color's distribution of chroma, hue and tone in Gwang-gyo cafe street. after that, analysed image of the color by using I.R.I color image scale system. The expectancy effects of this study is encouragement about color design with suitable function and subject for future Color Design strategies.
