이 연구는 선행연구가 갖고 있는 연구방법 상의 한계점 보완 필요성 및 체육교과에의 우선 적용 필요성에 의해 수행되었다. 따라서 표준화된 연구 도구를 이용하여 타 교과와 비교 가능한 체육수업에서의 UDL 적용 정도를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 경북 및 경남지역 일반 중ㆍ고등학교에 재직 중인 체육교사 51명을 대상으로 ‘한국형 보편적 학습설계 기반 수업분석 체크리스트: 자기보고용’ (Korean UDL-Based Instruction Analysis Checklist for Self-Report)을 적용하였다. 기술통계 및 다변량분석(MANOVA)을 통해 자료를 분석한 결과, 평균 3.64점 수준에서 UDL 가이드라인 2.0의 구성 지침들을 적용, 수행하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 그리고 원리들 중에서는 원리Ⅰ, 지침들 중에서는 지침3의 평균이 가장 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 집단 간 비교에 있어 학급유형로 유의미한 차이를 보이는 지침 및 원리에는 지침1, 지침3, 지침4, 지침5, 지침6, 지침7, 지침9, 원리Ⅰ, 원리Ⅱ 등이었다. 그리고 지침1, 지침2, 지침3, 지침7, 원리Ⅲ은 학교급에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 선행연구와 비교, 논의하였으며, 일반화를 위한 전국 단위의 표집, 과목별 연구 수행 및 비교 그리고 이를 통한 UDL 적용 활성화 방안 제시 등을 후속 연구를 위해 제언하였다.

This study was carried out by the necessity of supplementing the limitations of the research methods of the previous studies and the necessity of priority application to the physical education subjects. Therefore, it is aimed to analyze the degree of UDL application in physical education classes that can be compared with other subjects using standardized research tools. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, 51 physical education teachers in general middle and high schools in Gyeongbuk and Gyeongnam area were applied to Korean UDL-based Instruction Analysis Checklist for Self-Report. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistics and multivariate analysis. As a result, it was found that the UDL guidelines were applied at an average score of 3.64. Among the principles, Principle I and Guideline 3 have the highest average among the guidelines. Guidelines and principles that show significant differences in class types in comparison between groups were Guideline 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, PrinciplesⅠ and Ⅱ. In addition, there is a statistically significant difference between Guidelines 1, 2, 3, 7 and PrincipleⅢ. The results of this study were compared and discussed with the previous research, and some suggestions for the follow-up study were suggested.
