본고는 삶에 消極的인 태도를 보이는 것으로 인식할 수 있는 人生無常類의 時調들을 중심으로 그 성격과 가치를 時中이라는 原理로 분석하여 시조 이해 교육에 反映하고, 이를 통해 학습자들이 텍스트를 통한 能動的 自己 形成이라는 문학교육의 본질에 더욱 다가가게 하는 것을 목표로 한다. 먼저, 화자의 인생무상에 대한 對應 태도를 뚜렷하게 느낄 수 있는 時調 112편을 선정하여, 대응 상황, 대응 태도, 대응 과정 양상을 파악한 후, 시중의 원리로 텍스트를 이해하는 시조 교육을 이론화하였다. 시중으로의 텍스트 해석은 해석의 다양성을 확보하고, 개방된 작품을 유연하게 완성해 나가는 과정으로 시조 내용의 이해 범주 확장을 실현하게 된다. 또한 학습자의 삶의 태도 형성에까지 영향을 미쳐, 인식 공간에서의 反面 사고와 자기 定位의 능동적 자기 형성 태도 확립에 영향을 준다. 그리고 이러한 태도 확립은 학습자에게 또다시 시조를 능동적인 시중의 원리로 읽을 수 있는 인식의 능력을 갖출 수 있게 한다.

The purpose of this study is to reflect it in the education of understanding Sijo by analyzing its character and value with the principle dubbed Sijung(時中: timeliness) focusing on Sijo(s) in Insaengmusang-ryu(人生無常類), which can be recognized as what shows passive attitude in life, and is to allow learners to further approach the essence of literature education called active self-shaping through this. First of all, it selected 112 pieces of Sijo available for clearly feeling a speaker's attitude of coping with Insaengmusang(人生無 常: vanity of life), grasped the responsive situation, the responsive attitude, and the responsive-process aspect, and then theorized the Sijo education of understanding text with the principle of Sijung(時中). An analysis of Sijo was made with the process of understanding Sijung(時中) according to a situation of being established in the text. As the analyzation of text as Sijung(時中) is the process of securing the diversity of interpretation and of flexibly completing an open work, it comes to realize the extension of category in understanding the contents of Sijo. Also, it has influence even upon a learner's forming attitude toward life, thereby giving impact to establishing the active self-shaping attitude of the other-side(反面) thought and of locating self in the world(定位) in the space of recognition. And the establishment of this attitude again allows a learner to possibly have ability of recognition available for reading Sijo with the principle of active Sijung (時中). Furthermore, a learner nurtures literary sensitivity through this and comes to recognize the importance of the process, which seeks for balance and harmony amidst the situation, thereby developing as the main agent of growth.
