이 연구는 대화분석과 질적 사례연구 방법을 통해 수업 도입단계 교수화법의 양상을 살피고 교사의 인식을 점검하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 도입단계 교수화법의 일반적인 구조는 ‘수업 준비하기, 수업 시작하기, 전시학습 상기하기, 동기유발하기, 학습목표 확인하기, 학습활동 안내하기’이다. 이 구조는 학교급, 교과, 교사 등 다양한 요인에 의해 추가, 수정, 대체, 통합, 생략되기도 한다. 도입단계 교수화법의 교육적 함의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전시학습 상기는 수업 간의 연계성을 확보하고 학생의 선수학습 정도를 파악한다는 측면에서 의미가 있다. 둘째, 동기유발하기를 통한 학습목표 확인하기는 수업에서 다루고자 하는 주요 내용과 활동을 학생들에게 각인시키는 기능을 한다. 셋째, 수업 도입단계와 정리단계를 수미상관의 구조로 파악할 수 있다. 수업 준비하기와 개별 질문받기, 수업 시작하기와 수업 종료하기, 전시학습 상기하기와 차시 예고하기는 그 기능과 역할에서 서로 대구를 이루며 수미상관의 구조를 이룬다. 이러한 교육적 함의를 생각할 때 도입단계의 교수화법은 하위 기능단계의 의미와 기능을 고려하여 유목적적이고 계획적으로 실행될 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the aspect of teacher’s conversation at the class introduction stage and to check teachers’ perception about it. The general structure of the teaching method at the introduction stage consists of; preparing class, starting class, reminding students of previously learned materials, motivating, confirming learning goals, and introducing learning activities. Other elements can be added to or some elements can be removed from this structure, while it can also be modified, substituted or integrated, depending on various factors such as school levels, subject matters, and teachers. The pedagogical implications of the introduction stage are as follows. First, reminding students of previously learned materials is meaningful in terms of securing the link between classes and grasping the degree of student learning. Second, identifying learning goals through motivation induces students to remember what key content and activities they are about to learn in class. Third, the introduction phase and the conclusion phase of the class can be understood as the structure of rhyming couplets. Preparing classes and getting individual questions, starting and ending classes, and reminding students of previously learned materials, and previewing the next lesson form the structure of the rhyming couplets in their functions and roles.
