이 논문은 국내의 초등국어교육 분야의 ‘시 교육’에 관한 연구의 동향을 분석하고 시사점을 제안한 연구이다. 연구의 동향을 파악하기 위해서, 체계적 문헌 고찰법을 활용하였고, 1994년부터 2017년까지 Riss에 등재된 228편의 논문을 최종 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 학술지 논문과 학위논문은 연도별 경향과 주제영역에서 큰 차이점을 보이지 않았으며, 시 교육 이론을 통해서 볼 때, 특정 영역에 편중되거나 연구가 누락된 항목들이 있었다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 논의를 바탕으로 향후 탐구해야할 과제로 19개를 제시하였으며, 이는 크게 두 가지로 정리할 수 있다. 첫째, 초등국어교육의 상황에서 시 교수학습과 교과서의 연구가 꾸준히 진행될 필요가 있으며, 시 교육의 위계성과 학습자의 특성, 아동문학연구와의 연계 등에 대한 논의가 진행될 필요가 있겠다. 둘째, 초등 문학 교육의 장르 용어에 대한 연구, 시 이해교육과 표현교육의 균형, 교육과정과 실제 연구와 교수학습의 연계, 시 교육 평가와 교과서 구성, 시 교수학습 모형 등에 대한 논의가 실제적으로 필요한 것을 도출하였다.

This Study analyzes trends of 'poetry education' in the field of Korean language education at elementary schools in Korea and suggests its implications. In order to grasp current trends of research, systematic literature review method was used and 228 papers listed in Riss from 1994 to 2017 were analyzed. The study shows that there are no significant differences between the journals and theses in the trends and subject areas of different years. In this paper, based on poetry education theories, 19 issues are proposed as future tasks to be explored. Some of them are as the following: First, in the context of elementary school education, it is necessary that 'teaching and learning poetry' and 'the study of textbooks' should be carried out steadily. Discussions about the hierarchy of poetry education, characteristics of learners, and linking it with the study of children 's literature will be needed. Second, it is necessary to discuss the terms of the genre of elementary literacy education, the balance between poetry comprehension education and expression education, linking between curriculum and actual research and teaching and learning.
