본 연구는 대학생들을 대상으로 진로상담의 상담성과와 진로결정수준의 관계에서 취업스트레스와 자아정체감의 구조적 관계를 알아보는데 연구 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 대학생 190명을 대상으로 상담성과, 취업스트레스, 자아정체감, 진로결정수준 척도를 사용하였고, 수집된 자료는 AMOS 21.0의 구조방정식 모형을 활용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경로분석에서 상담성과는 자아정체감에 정의 관계가 나타났고, 자아정체감은 진로결정수준에 정의 관계가 나타났다. 취업스트레스는 진로결정수준과 자아정체감과의 관계에서 모두 부의 관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 매개효과분석에서 취업스트레스는 상담성과와 진로결정수준의 관계에서 매개효과가 없는 것으로 나타났고, 자아정체감은 상담성과와 진로결정수준의 관계에서 완전매개가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 정리하면 상담성과에서 진로결정수준으로는 직접적 영향이 없지만 진로상담을 통하여 내담자의 자아정체감을 정립해 주면 진로결정수준에 간접적으로 영향을 미칠 수 있다고 할 수 있다. 또한 상담성과를 통한 취업스트레스에 현재는 접근할 수 없지만, 다양한 후속 연구를 통하여 상담성과가 취업스트레스에 간접적으로 접근할 수 있다면, 상담성과를 통하여 취업스트레스의 문제를 해결하여 진로결정수준에 간접적으로 접근할 수 있다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 상담성과에 대한 연구가 미미한 상태에서 상담성과의 개입 방향과 접근법에 대한 새로운 연구라 할 수 있다. 끝으로 본 연구의 논의 및 제한점을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationship between employment stress and self-identity in the relationship between counseling achievement and career decision level for college students. For this purpose, 190 college students were surveyed using the scales of counseling achievement, employment stress, self-identity, and career decision level. The collected data were analyzed using the structural equation model of AMOS 21.0. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, in the path analysis, the counseling achievement showed a positive relationship with the self-identity, and so did the self-identity with the career decision level. Employment stress was negatively related to both career decision level and self-identity. Second, in the mediation effect analysis, employment stress showed no mediating effect in the relationship between counseling achievement and career decision level. And the self-identity was found to be a perfect mediator in the relationship between counseling achievement and career decision level. To sum up the results of this study, there is no direct influence on career decision level from counseling achievement, but it can indirectly influence career decision level setting self-identity through career counseling. Although employment stress through counseling achievement is currently inaccessible, if counseling achievement can indirectly approach employment stress through various follow-up studies, the counseling achievement that solved the problem of employment stress can indirectly approach the career decision level. This is a new study on the intervention direction and approach of counseling achievement in the state of little research on counseling achievement. Finally, discussions and limitations of this study were discussed.
